Cottage Visit..........

We had to park across the street...

Too much snow from the plow...

Luckily we had left the gate ajar...

So we could squeeze through!!

Lots of drifting snow...

The winds must have been ferocious...

The steps to the beach, were blocked by a huge drift...

On the Western side of the property...

Very cloudy...damp...breezy...around 4*C...

Here you can see the drifting along the West side...

My huge rock/perennial garden lies beneath all that snow...

The beach was unaccessible this trip...

Never remember that happening before...

But...it was pretty windy and cold the closer I got...

Some spots were bare grass...

This could be a long Spring thaw...

Thru the window gives a better idea of the drifting...

Lots of Spring work to be done....yikes!!

As we say goodbye after another visit...

We can only think of what is to come...

Green...

Beach deck...

Dinner on the sunporch...with the windows to the kitchen wide open...

Oh...and...those Sunsets...

To die for...

Dreaming here..... :o)

Hope you are all having a great day...

Sunny here...but chilly...

We have Miss V visiting...she is still napping...since 1pm...such a good girl♥️

We did some Easter crafts...

Papa took her to the park on her bike...

Had a great lunch...

Her Mom will be joining us for dinner tonight...

Got some fresh Cod soaking in buttermilk...

Gonna make some fried rice to go along with the crispy baked fish...

Perhaps a few Brussel Sprouts will go nicely...

enjoy your evening...

                              Cheers!  :o)

  1. Those are huge drifts. The sun needs to get out and do some work on melting them down. It's a lovely sunny day here, but on the cool side. I'm catching up on jobs after going to Canada Blooms yesterday.

  7. I'm liking the last few photos more than the snowy scenes and it will happen and you will enjoy some wonderful days and evenings there this year. It's surprising how fast the snow melts once it starts. I'm amazed every year. So when I look out and see 4 and 5 foot drifts and snowbanks I will remember how fast it melts ONCE THE WEATHER WARMS UP!!!! We have more snow coming on Saturday. Yep. Can't go more than 3 days without it. Just wouldn't be right. Enjoy!
