We came across these lovely specimens enjoy this Spring snowfall...
Decked in their finest blankets...they certainly had a lot of fun!!
Just as I was rolling the window up...
The Redhead did a great "High Ho Silver", jump in the air...
And I missed it...bummer!!
Hope you are all having a great day...
Weekend was on the cool side here...
Blustery winds again...making for a windchill...brrrr...
Not going out today...
Laundry going...some ironing is calling my name...
and my crochet project is heading down to the wire...
So......
Off to the couch I go...
I think this big mug of tea is in order.... {in my new mug}
With a side of sliced Granny Smith apples...
YUM!!
Enjoy your day!
Cheers! :o)

DeleteIt was cold that day....supposed to warm this week...

Happy Monday to you . . .
DeleteHave you been on my world lately ~ the other day a few of us were circling round it which was funny . . . :)
Will drop by tomorrow....
DeleteHad a very busy day....
Still crocheting!!!
Is he asking you to pay him a visit, Linda?
DeleteShhhhh...I think he is! It is a secret!!
DeleteThe horses are beautiful. Makes me miss the days of taking Hannah out to the barn.
ReplyDeleteAnd as much as I'd like to see the snow go away, it does add a nice touch to your pictures.
:0)
I remember that Martha...didn't that lady lose her farm???
DeleteYes...I agree...it did make the photos way more pretty!
She lost her animals. In the end there is no way to fight the system. No vet will put his license on the line to testify on behalf of the accused. All access to your animals is lost and there is no way to prove how or why they may or may not be ill or starving. Linds was a good friend to the girls, taught them well, and loved her animals. In the end her reputation has been ruined whether she deserved it or not. Makes me question every other animal seizure I read about in the news.
DeleteSuch a shame Martha....
DeleteI love your new header photo, Linda. Looks like you and I have horses on the brain today. :) Great pics. I wonder what they were talking about. :) Snowing here this evening.
ReplyDeleteThey were whispering sweet nothings, Pam!!! hahaha!
DeleteThey were actually snapping at each other...
Ahhh...SPRING!!
More snow??????
Nice horses! And nice Pussy Willows too!
ReplyDeleteHi Furry.....
DeleteThanks!
How are you doing?
Those horses are obviously discussing something. But what?
ReplyDeleteLike I said Birdie.....whispering sweet nothings! Hahaha!
DeleteAh..horses. Aren't they gorgeous. Your photos are always fun to see. We have lots in our area and I never get tired of seeing them out in their pastures. .Cute tea-cup. Deb
ReplyDeleteDon't they just make you smile, Deb?
DeleteWe took Miss V by this farm in December....will take her again this summer....
It is a BIG mug, let me tell 'ya!
Love the pussy willows, I used to have them on my desk every spring when I was a teacher, thanks for the memories. Hmm...no menu of tonight's dinner, LSK? Great photos of the horses, thanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteI have a pussy willow tree!
DeleteWe had burgers and Greek salad....without the buns!
Hope to see you soon!
Hope to see U 2. :)
DeleteFunny, househunters were at my house yesterday so I drove up the hill and sat in the drive to the farm. There I watched the one horse eating hay with the goat, sheep and Highland Cattle. I was mostly amazed that no one was stabbed by one of the cattles long crazy horns but the horse was just digging into that hay .. He is gorgeous in his way, he was abused, he is a rescue .. so his poor face shows a hard life .. scars all over him.
ReplyDeleteBut he is gentle and will stand for hours letting me just stroke his head and rub his neck.
He is the neighbor I will miss most when I leave here :)
Love that he is a rescue....awwww....you will miss him......take him an apple♥️
DeleteAny nibbles on the house?
Awww - LOVE the horses frolicking! What fun photos. In the fourth one it looks like one is having a good ol' laugh. Aren't they the most gorgeous colours. Beautiful header - makes me think spring might come.
ReplyDeleteToday was so cold that I decided to do a few errands and a bit of shopping that might bring cheer. After my errands I went to the Brick Street Bakery for some sausage rolls and lemon poppyseed cookies, SOMA to buy chocolate and to have a shot of delicious Mayan hot chocolate, and then to Maisonette to buy three types of preserves: winter spiced banana, blueberry and pink peppercorn, and banana and vanilla bean. The taste is divine. I also picked up some sweet hand-painted chocolate Easter eggs and a few cards.
Now I am addressing shower invitations as a friend and I are co-hosting a shower in May for my god-daughter. Lots to do!
That was when he/she was nipping at the other!
DeleteYou had a sweet day for sure!
So nice to be able to stroll and shop....I envy that!
Good luck with the shower....
What gorgeous creatures they are!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your crochet project. Still looks mighty cold there!!!!
xo Kris
Well it is Kris...unfortunately!
DeleteNo front easter planter or anything!!
Crochet will make its debut soon!!
If I have any hair left!!
Hi there, Linda... how is all?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the way you caught the snow flakes in those images...
... and coffee mugs... they are a terrible weakness for me... I will cull my inventory... and the next thing I know, I have a whole bunch of them once again...

Hi Shoes...

Yes...never enough mugs...or way too many!
Such is life...
How is your world???
I could do a "High Ho Silver" for you, but it would be less impressive.
