Hey....Quit Horsing Around!!

On our weekly visit to the cottage last Friday...

We came across these lovely specimens enjoy this Spring snowfall...

Decked in their finest blankets...they certainly had a lot of fun!!

Just as I was rolling the window up...

The Redhead did a great "High Ho Silver", jump in the air...

And I missed it...bummer!!

Hope you are all having a great day...

Weekend was on the cool side here...

Blustery winds again...making for a windchill...brrrr...

Not going out today...

Laundry going...some ironing is calling my name...

and my crochet project is heading down to the wire...

So......

Off to the couch I go...

I think this  big mug of tea is in order.... {in my new mug}

With a side of sliced Granny Smith apples...

YUM!!

Enjoy your day!

        Cheers!  :o)

    1. I remember that Martha...didn't that lady lose her farm???
Yes...I agree...it did make the photos way more pretty!

    2. She lost her animals. In the end there is no way to fight the system. No vet will put his license on the line to testify on behalf of the accused. All access to your animals is lost and there is no way to prove how or why they may or may not be ill or starving. Linds was a good friend to the girls, taught them well, and loved her animals. In the end her reputation has been ruined whether she deserved it or not. Makes me question every other animal seizure I read about in the news.

  22. Funny, househunters were at my house yesterday so I drove up the hill and sat in the drive to the farm. There I watched the one horse eating hay with the goat, sheep and Highland Cattle. I was mostly amazed that no one was stabbed by one of the cattles long crazy horns but the horse was just digging into that hay .. He is gorgeous in his way, he was abused, he is a rescue .. so his poor face shows a hard life .. scars all over him.
But he is gentle and will stand for hours letting me just stroke his head and rub his neck.
He is the neighbor I will miss most when I leave here :)

  23. Awww - LOVE the horses frolicking! What fun photos. In the fourth one it looks like one is having a good ol' laugh. Aren't they the most gorgeous colours. Beautiful header - makes me think spring might come.
Today was so cold that I decided to do a few errands and a bit of shopping that might bring cheer. After my errands I went to the Brick Street Bakery for some sausage rolls and lemon poppyseed cookies, SOMA to buy chocolate and to have a shot of delicious Mayan hot chocolate, and then to Maisonette to buy three types of preserves: winter spiced banana, blueberry and pink peppercorn, and banana and vanilla bean. The taste is divine. I also picked up some sweet hand-painted chocolate Easter eggs and a few cards.
Now I am addressing shower invitations as a friend and I are co-hosting a shower in May for my god-daughter. Lots to do!
