When I saw her at the grocery store yesterday....
I knew she had to come home with me....
And....
I knew the perfect spot...
And the perfect container...
I do believe...
She looks fabulous there...
No direct sunlight...
But...
Plenty of natural light...
Hopefully...
She will flourish ♥️
Hope you all had a great day....
Still in the cool temps here....breezy....cloudy....few rain drops...
Had a wonderful day with Miss V....
Two bike rides...nice long nap....play doh and a tea party!
Think we might take off tomorrow afternoon for the cottage...
Enjoy the warmer temps coming in!
Hope you have a great evening...
Cheers! :o)

Yep, your post looks fine. And I do believe your plant looks fabulous there, too. What kind of plant is she?
ReplyDeleteThanks Laurie....
DeleteShe is a Maiden Hair Fern....lovely,eh?
She looks great in the milk glass. You and Betsy are brave!
ReplyDeleteHappy cottaging. Me, I prefer this slightly cooler weather and wish it would last and last.
Yes....I will monitor her success in my kitchen!
DeleteThe cool is fine...but gimme some sun!
Lovely acquisition . . :)
ReplyDeleteHi Eddie....
DeletePretty boring life,eh?
I get excited about a new ...hard to grow....houseplant!
Oh well....it keeps you coming back,eh? Hahaha!
I must be addicted to you . . er your blog . . hahah
DeleteGo to bed! It must be 3 am over there!
DeleteEddie never sleeps, Linda. He's a real man haha!
DeleteHi Eddie. We need to talk...
A real man? Needs no sleep? I never knew that......thanks Blue!
DeleteSo how do I account for my endless snoring.... Um...
Deleteerr...you got me!
DeleteA Maiden Hair Fern. I have never heard of that. I expect it will grow like crazy under your thumb. Have a great time at the cottage. I have another family birthday this weekend. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed Deb!
DeleteWhose birthday?
Oh, she's fabulous! So much bigger than my baby! haha. Just remember...lots of water and no draft. Love her in the milk glass!
ReplyDeleteOh dear...there is a vent under my stand! Darn! Do I have to move her?
DeleteOh, I don't know....maybe it won't bother her through the stand. If she starts looking cranky I'd move her...just keep an eye on her. When the heat is on in the winter, that might dry her out too much, though. I'd just watch her. She sure is lovely!
DeleteWill keep my eye on her....hopefully she will make it to Thanksgiving!
DeleteLovely, Linda. You have an excellent eye.
ReplyDeleteWell.....thanks Ivy♥️
DeleteShe's beautiful. I had something similar but my pot was too shallow. So sad. I need to replace her. God love ya for reminding me.
ReplyDeleteThe post looks just fine.
Jane x
Hi Jane!
DeleteGet another one...I love that they are so dainty!
Beautiful Linda, I do love a Maidenhair fern. I have several, which survive but never grow very much. Doesn't it look fabulous in the milk glass!
ReplyDeleteI think it sure does Patricia! A very old piece!
DeleteJust perfect!
ReplyDeleteHi Debra.....enjoying your summer?
DeleteLovely plant. Good luck with her! She will flourish!
ReplyDeleteHope so! I had one a couple of years ago....looked great for about 2 months! Then.....shrivelled!
DeleteYour post looks good! Like your new plant! xx
ReplyDelete:o)
DeleteYour milkglass caught my eye! I love it and I have several pieces!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Elizabeth!
DeleteHow did you find me? I always have to ask!
Love it. I'm using my milk glass for more things now...have a creeping charlie in one.
ReplyDeleteI do believe the clean white, really sets off the plant!
DeleteHappy gardening!
Just catching up with your wonderful last post of the family BBQ. Love the deck, Miss V. in her little car of course and your creative basket of goodies. I always feel like smiling when I look at your photos. Enjoy the extended weekend at the cottage, I'm just preparing for my BF's birthday brunch here tomorrow with kids and grandkids. We have lots to be grateful for, don't we? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Hester♥️
