Haunting Halloween Decor..........

On Halloween afternoon...we drove from the cottage to my son's house...
We were on our way home, as it was a dull gloomy day!!
My son has always been very artistic, and has always loved HORROR!
After highschool, he was accepted into ANIMATION at Sheridan College...he went into it so excited...not realizing the first year was more like Art school..:o(
He excelled..{of course}...but changed course...and went into Media Arts...
Toronto was a booming film city in those days...due to our low $...which unfortunately is low again!!
He went into the movie industry...loved it...but very gruelling work...worked his way up to Director's Assistant...when the bottom fell out of the movie business in Canada...
To make a long story short...which I do believe I have not done!
He is now in the web business...designs web sites for many people, and is excellent at it...I must say!!
VERY proud Mom here♥️

Whenever there is an occasion to decorate...he embraces it with all his heart and soul...
He made all these decorations for his cute house for Halloween...
The pillars are made out of styrofoam...all carved out by hand...
Behind the ghoulish faces, are aluminum trays from the $ store...
Bought all kinds of things there...and repurposed them!!
He painted everything...added moss...ivy...you name it!!
Isn't he an amazing guy!!!

As always...his gal Anna, put on a great spread...

All of the sweets were gluten free...as were the crackers and chips...

All of my kids were there...Miss V did her trick or treating up and down his street...

We left early...as we didn't want to be partypoopers...

And...Ryan still had some work to do outside!

Aunt Anna always has a new craft to do with Miss V...lovely girl!

Miss V and her Mom had shown us her costume a few days before Halloween...
She wanted to the THE HULK!!!
Can you believe it! hahaha!

My son took the next pic of Miss V outside his house...
The 3 pumpkins beside her...were the singing pumpkins!
He put a projector and played the film onto the pumpkins...
They were hilarious!! Had a real comedy routine going!!
His neighbours were very impressed with all his hard work...
And..
As you can see...

SO WAS MISS V!!!

She so loves her Uncle Ryan♥️♥️♥️

Auntie Lissa took this pic of Miss V enjoying a cupcake and a drink from her Halloween glass, that Aunt Anna gave her!

What a night she had.......

Hope you are all having a great day...
Another beautiful day here...

Picked up Miss V...took her to the grocery store...out for lunch...bike ride...park..bit of tv...story...napping!!

Her Mom is coming for dinner...
We are having baked filet of sole, fried rice and brussells...

Enjoy the rest of your day...

               Cheers!  :o)

  3. All so fun and wonderful . Lovely photos. Yeah the movie business in Toronto is nonexistent but the TV shows are being made all over the place here in Ontario , like Murdock Mysteries is done in Kitchener and part in T O but most of our Canadian movies and TV shows are done in Vancouver . Good for him though being able to get into other things and make it work . Thanks for sharing , have a good day !

  9. Your son and his girlfriend put on quite the display. How fun is that! Miss V has some great people in her life. I have to laugh at her choice of costume. Most little girls that age want to be a princess. She is going to be a leader, for sure. :)
