The Lake was a lot calmer than the 2 previous days..
We spent 2 days...raking...raking...raking!! hahaha!
Friday was warm, but windy!!
Saturday was cooler...but sunny!!
The Blue Jays and the Squirrels were very busy having breakfast today...
I am so glad the Jays are back...
Back at home...time for brunch.....after arriving...and unpacking...I put some seed out...
Didn't take them long to find it!!
While we were eating brunch..{yummy}...
I spied the Cardinal and Blue Jay at the feeders...
Took the picture thru the kitchen window...with a lot of sunshine...so...not very clear...but I think you get the idea!
Thru the window...
I noticed a lot of Robins still around...
They were eating the Juniper berries in the back yard...
But...from the living room...I spied this guy in the pine tree...
What a difference different lighting makes!!
Isn't he gorgeous??
What were you up to???
Great weather,eh??
A bit chillier today, but wall to wall sunshine!!
Dinner will be Grilled Lamb Chops...Wild Rice...Mushrooms and peppers...
And....most likely some greek salad! hahaha!!
This was to be last nights dinner...but I was lucky enough to go out for dinner at the local Seafood restaurant at the cottage...had fish, shrimp, chips and coleslaw!!! Deeeelicious!!
Enjoy the rest of this beautiful day...
Cheers! :o)

Yum on the breakfast. We had blues outside today, as well. This last week, we've had a wonderful Indian Summer. Now, Old Man Winter is coming. Wishing you a great new week and boogie boogie.
ReplyDeleteYou too Ivy!
DeleteThese are some great shots! Have a great week Linda xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi!
DeleteThanks for stopping by...you have a great week...see you on Instagram!
Your birds are so pretty! But girl, you have a squirrel infestation! I don't get along with squirrels. They eat all the pecans on the trees across from me at the beach before any humans can gather them. You raked this weekend? I love to rake, I just don't like picking up the leaves, when I'm done. LOL!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so true, Laurie! I guess I do LOVE to rake!
DeleteI pile them all on a tarp, and then we drag it down to the beach, for the bonfire...
3 squirrels is not too bad...considering the location!
Have a great week!
Love all your pics today Linda. Especially the robin posing so prettily on the tree. It was downright cold here all weekend. Windy and cloudy and 10 yesterday. Windy, sunny and 5 today. Brr. We went for a walk in the park this afternoon which was lovely out of the wind but dark in the woods. Spooky. lol Murray hid from me and I was starting to get worried. haha. We ate at the local diner after church so not having supper tonight. We'll snack on something later as we're too full. Hugs. Pam
ReplyDeleteThat Murray....what a card,eh? Hahaha!
DeleteThat is cold....we were at 10 yesterday and today....last week was incredible!
Love snacking....tee hee hee!
I woke up but didn't get out of bed straight away . . . lol.
ReplyDeleteCharging my batteries up . . . . then went to Selina and Matt's to do some more decorating.
Love the photos, Linda. Liked the colour of the grasses in the background . . . and nice shots of the birds. You are so fortunate to have such beauties all around you.
Have a lovely cuddle with baby Rosa . . . did not go there only for the decorating . . . lol . . . :)
Hi Eddie...
DeleteHow did your week with Peter go?? You still walking?? hahaha1
I'll bet Rosa is getting big...will you be watching her if Selina goes back to work??
Enjoy your week...
Yes, I'm just about walking . . . lol
DeleteYes Rosa is about 13lb now and seems very happy . . . but greedy . . lol
Yes, I expect I shall be looking after her for some of the time when Selina goes back to work, alternating with Rosa's other Nana,. maybe together sometimes. Peter will be at play school for some of the time.
Back to bus driving today.
Enjoy your week too . . . :)
I am sure you will handle everything splendidly!
DeleteHave fun on the bus!
Such confidence . . . . yes I will! . . . lol
DeleteGot out for a nice long walk in the woods today.

Love the Robin shot...I was thrilled that he came out so nicely!!
DeleteHow are you doing???
A special Hello to the red cardinal (and the pretty blue jay too)!! Raking leaves? Seems like winter is very near. We have had a series of electric storms over the weekend - three on Sunday! Lots of cracking thunder and lightning, and some rain but not too heavy. The garden is happy with the extra water. And our five year old Jacaranda tree has finally had its first blossoms :)
ReplyDeleteHi Patricia!
DeleteWe always rake in the Fall....hopefully Winter is a long way off...
We are having beautiful weather!
I think I'm coming to your place for brunch!
