Since returning home from Florida...
My 2 daughters have kept me supplied with beautiful Flowers...
From the PINKY Creamy Spray Roses...to the Soft Ruffly PASTEL Carns...
The PERFECT PINK of the Cyclamen...
The hint of PALE GREEN in the Creamy Hydrangea plant...
I love them all...and I love my 2 girls for always thinking of me...♥️
The house is always filled with flowers...wouldn't have it any other way....
And...
A few of my KALANCHOE are still blooming from last Summer!
Such a dependable...resilient plant...love these!
And...one of my AFRICAN VIOLETS surprised me with a few beautiful blooms...
If they are not happening outdoors...
There is nothing like an indoor garden to life your spirits...
My GERANIUMS I brought in last Fall, are tall and healthy...and...
Are anxious to get outside again!
Soon...hopefully...soon....*sigh*
Hope you all have a great day...
Still unseasonably cold here...at least the snow has melted...:o)
We are off for a drive to the cottage...drop off a few more boxes to the thrift shop...{Hi Tammy!}...I will make lunch at the cottage...crank up the furnace...at least spend a few hours there! I am sure there will be more growth out there...it is much further south than our home... hopefully a few DAFFODILS or FORSYTHIA branches, I can cut and bring home for some Spring cheer!!
I have a Rack of Lamb thawing for dinner tonight...
I think a glass {or two} of RED wine will go nicely with that!
Have a great weekend...
Cheers! :o)
linda ♥️
ps...let me know if you make that deliciously delightful Lemon Yogurt Blueberry Bread....yummy!! ♥️
Beautiful flowers! It's so lovely to have an indoor garden.
ReplyDeleteit is Kathy...worth the work to bring them indoors!
DeleteI made your blueberry yogurt Bread and its a winner!!!
ReplyDeleteYour blossoms are beautiful,, they do lift the spirits and yours did just that,,
Oh good, Laurie! Glad you liked it!
DeleteWell you are the flower lady!!! All so beautiful! Have a great weekend! xx
ReplyDeleteYou too Amy!
DeleteLovely indoor blooms . Don't they just pick up the mood though regardless of what the weather is out side ? Lovely photos. Thanks for sharing , have a good weekend !
ReplyDeleteThey do Elaine...man, was it ever crummy out at the lake!!
DeleteWe both have flowers on our mind this morning. If I had my way, and a some extra cash, I'd have my house full of flowers.
ReplyDelete:0)
Ha!
DeleteYou have mostly non-flowering houseplants, right Martha?
My daughters are so good to me...they keep me in fresh blooms...love it!
Blooming lovely ~ all of them and great photos, Linda.
ReplyDeleteI really cannot decide which ones I like best and I should not say so because the others might get jealous . . . :)
Hope you had a good day . . . and enjoy the cottage ~ silly thing to say, I KNOW you will . . . :)
Hi Eddie...
DeleteThanks so much! I do love when the pictures come out as beautiful as the subject!
Cottage was very miserable weather...but we enjoyed our lunch and time there...
Hopefully next weekend will be a sleepover...and we can tackle some more clean-up chores!
The Lake is VERY high for some reason...right up the beach...and lots of stones on the lawn!
Gosh . . . stones on the lawn. That is high! Hope you don't ever get flooded . . .
DeleteBack in the 50's, the cottage was moved from the beach, back to its current location...a hurricane came right up thru Lake Erie, and took a lot away with it! The waves toss the stones up from the beach...quite a mess...we have a LOT of work to do, if and when the weather co-operates!
DeleteYour floral photography is always so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhy thanks Debra...much appreciated!
DeleteLucky you..I love blooms..bought some tulips this week..the snow made me..african violets in bloom and a little Kalanchoe too.
ReplyDeleteI'd love those roses blushing here..
Tchin for later!

DeleteYou are a lucky mama! Love those gorgeous blooms. I put my geraniums out a couple of weeks ago. I cut them back slightly...was afraid to cut them back too much. They all have new leaves popping out everywhere. :)
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous that you have your Geraniums outside already!
Deletearen't you glad you brought them inside? They live to see another blooming season...fabulous!
Yes! Thanks to you! :)

ReplyDeleteI keep looking for African Violets at my grocery....none yet!
Really?

Had to toss a few after my trip...:o(...but the ones I kept have rewarded me!
Very lovely flowers! I'm happy that my African violets are all blooming, must be the southern exposure. Hope you had a nice drive to the cottage. It's taken a few days to catch up with routines since we came home, but eventually I'd like to try your great lemon blueberry bread recipe. Have a nice weekend and take care. :)
ReplyDeleteYours are beautiful Hester...I can attest to that!
DeleteIt is rough when you first get home...then...you start to wonder why you came home? hahaha!
You have a great weekend too....brrrr...
Oh, those pink and cream blooms are soooo beautiful Linda. What lovely girls you have too, bringing you flowers. My African violet haven't flowered for months, but maybe they don't like Summer. I'll have a word to them.
