Last Week With Miss V..........

Last Wednesday with Miss V, found us at the park!!!

It was a sunny day...but with a wee bit of a nippy wind...

Nonetheless...a good time was had by all...

After the park...it was time for a bit of painting...

Her concentration was unbelievable...

She enjoyed doing this so much...

One for her Mama and one for Papa...♥️

We also made a trip to Walmart, to purchase a booster car seat...

She has reached the weight requirement for one of these...

So much easier than the much larger one we had...

Now...we can take her in either vehicle...not just the 4x4...

She was enthralled with it!!

We used it on Friday...to pick her up after our drive to the cottage...

We had a Friday night sleepover with her, here at home...!!!

And...it was fun!!

I have a few pics to share with you all later...

The picture of RED was taken on Sunday afternoon...

We have had a bit of unwelcome snow here lately!!

The bird feeder shot was taken this morning!!!!!

And...it is not gonna melt!!!! Supposed to be very cold all week...

And...into the weekend!!!!

There goes any cottage sleepovers for a while...:o(

Hope you all had a great weekend...

Did you get any snow???  High winds??? Geesh!!!

Didn't do much today...a bit of laundry...rearranged a few kitchen cupboards...

Oh yes...I baked something quite delicious indeed!!!

It involved yogurt....blueberries...lemon juice and zest...

Yummy!!

                 Enjoy your evening...

                       Cheers!  :o)

  1. Making up lost time with Miss V.....and she is a very good painter, I see. No snow here, of course. But we have had some windy days and we're expecting a few days of cooler weather. This weekend was beautiful at the lake. Going to the beach tomorrow for the rest of the week. Hopefully the sunshine will follow.

  2. Little Miss V looks delightful company and her drawings and colouring in are so accurate. A big well done from Peter and his "Gampa". Red looks as mischievous as ever . . . :)

Raining hard here this afternoon but it was trying very hard to be sunny earlier when I was driving the bus . . . :)

    2. Fortunately I did not get too wet . . . got home after bus driving before it really started raining hard. Fingers crossed for tomottow because I would like to get into the garden.

Peter's Mum is on holiday for 2 weeks so I shall not be having Peter ~ but will see him sometimes. It will feel strange without him . . :)

  8. She's getting so big!! I love the small booster seats too ... and yours has cup holders! Miss V does look like she's concentrating on the paintings very well. She did a great job on them. Such a change from last week to this! A lot of our snow melted today with that bright sunshine later on. I actually got wind burn on my face this morning :[

  11. I could eat that little sweetie up, Linda. She grows like a weed before our eyes. She's quite the artist. :-D. I can't say enough how I admire all the ways your keep Miss V active and engaged and happy. I don't really know if I'll have that with our little one. Nothing has changed and she is over a year old now. She doesn't know who we are...she cries. Very sad. I'll live vicariously through you!

Crazy weather here; cold, warm, snow, rain...very terrible winds. The latter scares me so, we have huge old trees within 6 feet of our home.

We've learned the lakehouse may be done by July 1. We will have so much to do then, unpacking and sorting 25 years of 'everything' and we are going to replace some beds and the living room and loft furniture. Busy days ahead. Thank goodness for my kayak! :)

  13. Wow, what a basket of snow you have there Linda. Hi to Red, the cute little guy. I thought Spring was about to burst, but there you are, freezing again. Miss V is getting so tall - look at her long legs. She must be great fun to have around. PS we are so proud, the Canadian government has granted our girl a fancy scholarship to complete her Masters Degree in Ottawa :)

    Yes . . . we have had snow, cold, wind . . .
Sixteen degrees here this morning, (not sure how that translates to your temp scale.)
Other than to say . . . COLD!
But the sun is shining brightly so HOPE is returning . . .

  16. Miss V is really growing! She is such a sweetie and very good with colors, too!
We have had some up and down days, as far as adjusting the thermometer on the furnace. It is chilly this morning after a nice day yesterday. The winds over the weekend were horrible. We, too, have some old trees that are close to the house and they worry me.
    Have a nice day!

  17. Miss V is so cute as she concentrates on her painting. It is so cold here this week! Unbelievable! -7 this afternoon but the sun is gorgeous....and deceiving. I want to go outside and do yard work but there is no way I'll do it in that awful cold wind. Hope you are having a good week none the less. Hubs is gone to Winnipeg again and maybe again next week too. ;( Take care Linda and have a cozy day.

I may be in the minority... but I love the snow! We had none this winter so I am glad we get a final flurry or two. Spring will be here soon enough.
