A Day Of Scrabble And Chatter

Yesterday, was the day my sister-in law Sharron came for a sleepover, and a day of Scrabble....Chatter... Tea....Eating...
 Chatter....looking at my pictures....Tea...
Chatter......Well.....I think you get the picture!!!!

We started with some delicious hand made Pizza for lunch...should have taken a picture, but yakking too much!!
Started the Scrabble marathon around 1pm....had several cups of tea....fruit and yogurt around 3pm...still going....played three games!!!

This was my best board...Sharron won 2 out 3 games...but I always expect that!!! She has taught me a lot about the game...how to make 2-3 words at one time...really racks up the points...

Finally stopped for dinner at 6pm...homemade Scotch Broth...crusty bread.... and greek salad with avacado...yummy...again...no pictures...I gotta get this thing right next time!!!

After that....we settled into Coronation Street... and continued to yak until midnight!!!

This morning.one of my garden geraniums had this beautiful bloom on it...to brighten the day....a light snow is falling....

Sharron said she hadn't slept this well for YEARS....says she loves to visit her favorite "Inn"...very complimentary......It is always nice spending time with Family...and just.....relaxing......

Hope you all have a good day....be careful driving..

                             :o)

  3. Oh, yeah, I love Scrabble, as well! I have numerous games going in all the various FB variations. Sometimes it takes me almost an hour to play all my turns! Yes, just as Leslie says, I am not sure I could play the real thing anymore!
