Two Jobs Well Done......Finally!!!

So.....I have this table...in the tiny bathroom at the cottage....

It was pink and green when we first bought the place....then I made it blue......then this green....

So....last weekend I finally brought it home to paint...If I paint it there, where would "we" put all our stuff??? While the paint was curing....

As you can see...it has seen better days...the marks you see, is where the door hits it...can't solve that problem...there is only so much room...

It also has a lovely little glass knob on it... which I tried unsuccessfully to get a clear picture of...

So..........this was what it looked like before.....

And.......ta da......this is it now.....this blue color is already in use here at home....but I think it looks a lot fresher...Any opinions????

This is my kitchen sink at the cottage...

I had previously painted the cupboards white, as EVERYTHING was dark brown wood...I also peeled up several coats of linoleum, discovered wooden floors....so painted kitchen and bathroom floors white...Which unfortunately is a never-ending job...but ...I deal with it....:o)

But........I always wanted that little under the sink curtainy thingy...

So........I did it...and boy does it look fantastic....if I do say so myself!!
              Pretty snappy...eh????

So...I got 2 projects out of the way.....for now....I still have that outdoor fabric hanging around......Must do something with that....hmmmm..let me think....

This little toad paid us a visit on Friday....pretty cute, eh??

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend....
                    Maybe some rain tonight...

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday...

                                      Cheers!           :o)

  7. The little table was made for that bathroom. I love the colour! Nice job on the curtain too. It looks so airy and fresh.
When you said you still had some fabric I thought you were going to say you could make the frog some clothes. I am in fact losing it.

  8. Hey, that's a sweet table you refurbished in your powder room! But I LOVE your new sink skirt. Darling!! I admire your lovely lake shots too. I hope you got your link within ironed out. I KNOW NOTHING. I am the anti-techie. I can load pictures. period. Since you mentioned it--Our little Shasta has not been restored and is not one of those cute little show trailers. It really gets pretty trashed when we camp. It's pretty homey. Here's the link to see the interior. http://getcottage.blogspot.com/2010/06/cabin.html
