Cool Calm Cosmos..

I have been trying to pick a favorite flower for this summer of 2012....I do believe that I may cast my first vote for the lovely white Cosmos...

They are doing so well in my baskets at the lake....I took so many photos...I could not decide on how many to post...so...I picked these...hope it isn't too too many...but they are so gorgeous....Don't you agree???

Enjoy your trip down Cosmos Lane...:o)

Couldn't leave my home garden out of the post...

These pink beauties are in the back
yard here....

Love Love Love Cosmos....

Hope you all had a great day...

  1. I love white cosmos but didn't grow them this year. I'm trying orange ones, and they are just starting to bloom. Do you save seeds to grow for next year?

  3. Cosmos are a favorite of mine too Linda but I always choose pinks. I like the white ones you have. They really show up against the background.

    1. I bought young plants...but when I pot them up, I always add MIRACLE GRO soil to my potting soil and peat moss...I also add Miracle Gro time released fertilizer....these are at the lake, so they don't get as much watering, as I am only there a few days a week....but I really think the Miracle Gro is the key...
