A very special day indeed...
When I went out to the
garden early in the morning..I found this one perfect blue Hydrangea flower..
I think it must have been one of my Easter Hydrangeas...that I planted...a few years ago...
Forgot about it...and then yesterday....there it was...
On the day our Granddaughter Vivian Helena was born :o)
SO I snipped it...kept it in water...and took it to her and her Mom in a small
milk glass vase.... glad I got her little sweater finished... :o)
Perfect........and so is Vivian :o)
Here she is 28 hours old.... :o)
Have a great day :o)
linda :o)

ReplyDeleteWOW! Isn't she just so beautiful! How exciting. And how neat that the bloom came just in time to go with that gorgeous sweater. I'm so happy for you. Thanks for sharing the photos! Awww...I love her name, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Betsy...my daughter is pretty darn happy that Vivian is finally here...and so are we...
DeleteI am so glad to see this post. Congratulations to the entire family. A special bloom, a special child and so much love and fun to come. You cannot imagine how grand it is to be a grandparent. Hope the sweater is for the fall :) XXOO
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!! She is a precious gift and so lovely!!
ReplyDeleteThe sweater is cute but I thought it was a greener colour. I think the picture does not do it justice!
Thanks Devon: You are right about the color of the sweater...It is more of a pale lime green in person...I have crocheted up a little hat to match...will take a few more shots and see if I can get the color to be brighter..I hope to see Vivian again today :o)
DeleteChecking daily.... my special blogs, What a wonderful surprise.
