This lovely plant was a transplant from a neighbour here at home....
This one is growing at the Lake...didn't plant any at home...
To me, it resembles a Hollyhock flower...or even a Rose of Sharon...self-sows, so spread evenly...they can get pretty tall, so I usually have to give them some
support...
Lovely and Pink...:o)
Enjoy...
So lovely...that I added it to my weekly vase for the sunporch......last weekends was Mallow, Hydrangeas, Day Lilies, and some Hosta flowerettes...I thought it was pretty darn nice...:o) |
A few shots of the beach last weekend.......lovely and calm....
and warm.....and refreshing...ahhhhh
Cheers! :o)

Your garden is so beautiful. I am still ripping out ivy in mine. bah
ReplyDeletethanks...keep on ripping!!!
ReplyDeleteI SHOULD be ripping out ivy in mine, but I am not. Instead, a nice glass of wine on the patio makes everything in the garden look soo lovely! haha
ReplyDeleteHear that Birdie????
Deleteperhaps you should have a glass of wine as well!!!
Enjoy your evening, Devon....luv 'ya :o)
I love musk mallow. I used to have it in a garden but took it out as I heard it spreads like crazy. It never came back from the seeds at all! Your pink toenails are pretty. :) The weather here is beautiful too. Best July in a while!
ReplyDeleteWhere I have it, it can spread all it wants!!! Once finished flowering, I usually cut it back, as it takes up a lot of space...I love my pink toes too!!!
DeleteThat water is looking pretty smooth! You're right about the mallow looking like hollyhocks. I thought it was! Leaves are quite different. I see that now. I gotta find me some pink toe polish! So glam!
ReplyDeleteHi Jacqueline....the lake was perfect last weekend...heading down there again today...another scorcher here....high humidity...go and get those pinkies done today!!!!
ReplyDeletelove your vase of flowers, when I was out snapping some photos of a daylily this morning I saw a small clump of mallows, don't ever remember planting them there, so perhaps it grew with the help of the wind or a critter
ReplyDeletethanks...I try to do one every weekend with whatever is in bloom...
