ReplyDeletetopped off by pretty toes! :)
Thanks for coming on the short tour!!!
DeleteI always love when you join me!!
Everything looks like it is growing nicely ! Lovely photos ! Oh the cake and a cup of tea sounds wonderful ! Thanks for sharing. Have a good evening !
ReplyDeleteThere is something about cake and tea...very comforting!!
Deletelove the gnome and sheep in the garden ... I'm a big fan of fun things throughout the garden
ReplyDeleteI had a new tea today ... coconut calypso ... yummy ... trying to stay away from goodies to get rid of a bit of winter insulation around my tummy :)
Oh...that sounds delicious...
DeleteGoodies every once in a while are good for you, Linda!!!
The gnome is a Fisherman...probably 15 years old...
The sheep's ears fell off!!!..but he still looks good in the garden!
I always wanted a gnome fisherman to go on my little bridge, but never found one.
DeleteThat apple pie from The Big Apple was my treat for awhile ... it was so-o-o-o good, especially with some ice cream.
Glad you enjoyed it!!!!
DeleteI see some of my plants in your garden...Mine just haven't appeared yet. An hour east makes a big difference....
ReplyDeleteWe had our first car cruise in tonight and froze......
Hopefully it will warm up by the weekend. Want to get my veggie garden in.
Yes, it is supposed to warm up...
DeleteI need to do the same at the cottage...perhaps I will visit the local nursery out there...
I'm afraid there will be four less robins in the world too. Mrs. Robin apparently didn't appreciate the fencing a put around her nest in order to keep the cats at bay. The nest has been deserted. I do think this preferred over screeching robin parents when said cat discovers a nest full of babies or fledglings taking flight lessons.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is beautiful and I love your smiling gnome. They say warm weather is coming back tomorrow.
We have found at least a dozen Robins eggs at the cottage...
DeleteSome broken...some still whole...so good of you to try and help them!
Hello!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is very green and pretty....we are so far behind. I just have to wait a bit longer. Of course the dandelions are putting on quite a show!
Thanks Leanne...yours will perk up soon...yes...those dandelions are running rampant down here as well!!!
DeleteLove your header photo Linda. Your gardens sure are coming along fast there. I got outside and moved around some perennial orange lilies this afternoon as they were too crowded especially when they grow to be 5 feet tall! And the dandelions are blooming beautifully along with the wild pin cherry trees which smell so heavenly.
ReplyDeleteI also need to move some day lilies...they are really overcrowded here as well...perhaps tomorrow...
DeleteWe have lots of dandelions at the cottage!!!
beautiful new header! I love it! Everything is blooming so nicely! My forget-me-nots haven't come up yet...so how is it that yours have? haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks Betsy!
DeleteMy backyard here, is like a tiny eco-system...very sunny and hot...faces west...there are more forget-me-nots since I took these photos a few days ago!!! Sometimes they act like a bi-ennial, and only bloom every other year...
yours will soon appear, I'm sure!!
Your plants are so pretty, Linda. I love all of them. Your yard must be a paradise in the summer. I love those onion soup potatoes! I hadn't thought of them in years but now I remember how good they are. I sometimes make roasted potatoes with dry ranch dressing mix; I whisk half an envelope with a tablespoon of mayonnaise in a bowl, then toss potato chunks or wedges in it to coat them, then roast them in a pan. They're really good.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds delicious with the ranch dressing and mayo...must try that!!
DeleteIt certainly is looking like Spring in your neck of the woods!! Poor Mourning Dove!!!
ReplyDeletexo Kris
I am sure they will have more eggs very soon!!!
DeleteThey usually do 2-3 batches!!!
That is why there are soooo many of them!! hahaha!
Looking lovely! Poor little orphaned egg :( Wonder if 'Red' scared the doves away?
ReplyDeleteThat is a good question....perhaps he did!!!
