Took a quick walk around yesterday...

 I have ANOTHER Buttermilk Blueberry Breakfast Cake...
 in the oven?

Oh well...I am  getting fat!!!

  1. You have lots of spring blooms in your garden. I think that's what I'm lacking is early bloomers. Other than daffodils, tulips and forget-me-nots that is. I need more colour. I went to the greenhouse this afternoon and bought some annuals to fill 2 window boxes. I won't plant them until the weekend as it's too rainy and cool. Enjoy your evening.

    1. I have not bought any annuals yet!!
      last year at this time, I already had all my baskets done...
      Oh well...it is never too late!
      I need to do an herb garden as well...my perennial chives have already been put to good use..

  2. I found some violas yesterday behind one of our barns. They appear to have disappeared ( appear to have disappeared... hm...) from my gardens. Maybe I'll have to go dig them up and put them someplace visible.

    1. You should do that...they transplant very easily...very small root system, and you can break up the clump easily as well...take some pictures of before and after!!! Make them appear again!!

  3. You are not fat! No way. I think breakfast cake sounds like a perfect idea. Your flowers are all so pretty, I love that you are such an enthusiastic gardener!

  4. i prefer to think of us as sweetly volumptuous. yes yes i know. it's really voluptuous. but i prefer volumptuous. doesn't that sound lovely? LOL.
    and your breakfast cake makes it worth it. it's LIFE!!! and most poor suckers are starving to death. 'quoteth auntie mame!' beautiful pictures by the way. like little canadian georgia o'keefe's.
