Meet My Newest House Guest.....And an Old favorite♥

 This past Summer...

And Fall....

i gave my houseplants...

A...

Good...Thorough...

Inspection...

And....

Sadly enough...

A lot of them...

Did...

Not...

Measure up...

So...

Out with the old..

And...

In with the new....

I am pleased to introduce to you...

My newest Houseplant...

A Maiden hair Fern...

Isn't she lovely?

Not sure how well she'll do...

I have been misting her...

She gets a wee bit of afternoon sunshine...

And...the wall lamp in the evenings♥

I found the shape of the leaves very intriguing...

Hopefully she will perform well for me...

This wee beauty is no stranger to being photographed for my blog...

This tiny Kalanchoe was in the backyard all Summer...

Bloomed profusely...

And is just at the end of another bloom♥

If you ever see them...at the Supermarket...or your favorite garden store...

Grab a couple...they are so long lasting...

Just trim off the faded blooms...and within a short while...

They will bloom again for you...

Hope you are all having a great day...

The storm is still with us....very gusty winds...periods of hail...

Since it is so uninviting outdoors...

I got myself to the grocery store...

And I just spent 2 1/2 hours in the kitchen...

Preparing a few goodies!  { no...not those kind of goodies...but...."good" goodies...hahaha!}

First of all......Lazy cabbage rolls...

Secondly........Spaghetti Sauce...

Thirdly............Meat Balls...

Fourthly..........Chicken & rice soup...

The house smells like a Polish/Italian/English restaurant!!!

                                     ***********

On tonights menu this windy Monday

               Homemade burger patties...cabbage rolls....greek salad!

Had to add Greek to the restaurant! hahaha!

Added these awesome
Autumn colored Mums...
For your viewing pleasure!
Enjoy the rest of your day!

                               Cheers!  :o)

  7. I do best with plants that never (alright, make that rarely) need to be watered. I have a healthy collection of jade plants. They're very prolific.

Your new lovely is absolutely lovely!!

    2. Jades are my favorite because they don't need much water.
Was that confusing the first time? Sorry.

  8. I can't believe your Kalanchoe has survived this long. You much have a really green thumb! Maybe I'll buy one in the winter to brighten up the house. The maiden hair fern is very pretty. Sweet ruffly leaves on it. It's clearing off a bit here and the temperatures are dropping. Gonna be a cold week.
