Yesterday...
After I had done the grocery shopping...{having dinner guests on Saturday evening}
Did a couple of loads of laundry....emptied the dishwasher....blah blah blah...
You know....a normal average day...
The house was empty....
Soooooo....
I made myself a big mug of Apple-Cinnamon Tea...
Sliced up a rosy....crispy... juicy... Crispin Apple...
And went upstairs....to check out my favorite blogs...
When I got comfy...
I noticed....something....
The acorns I had picked up.... weeks ago on a walk...
Were still on my desk...right where I left them...stacked in an old "shoe"...
Sitting beside Mr. Beaver.....
And the "caps" that had fallen off....were on top of one of my glass candles...
And...
My mug..
Had Acorns on it...and an Autumnal feel...
As did my rosy....yellow... Crispin Apple..
And....
The Orange detail on my wee pyrex bowl....
And.....
For a few seconds....I was lost in the cinnamony aroma of the tea...
And the crispy fresh smell of my apple...
And I thought...
This is awesome!!!
How relaxing and calming is this!!!
So....
I gobbled down my apple....and slurped back my cup of tea...
And...
Of course....was forced to take a few pics....as my camera is always at hand...♥
*******
Hope you are all having a great day....
Miss V is "trying" to nap...tee hee hee...
And.....my boyfriend has gone to pick up our new vehicle...:o)
Chilly today...sun comes and goes...hardly any leaves left on the trees...
'Cause...they are all in the driveway!!
*******
Thanks for all your kind comments on my new header...
We all know how challenging this can be....♥

On the menu this fine Thursday evening...
A favorite...Pepper steak...with green peppers, green onions, and cherry tomatoes...
Served over No- Yolk noodles....YUMMY!!!!
Enjoy the rest of your day...
Cheers! :o)

Love the autumny pics Linda - as you would expect! So, the boyfriend is picking a new vehicle. I note that you don't say car, so my mind is wandering, bus, tank, boat, train, tandem.... am I close at all?!?!?!!!! xx
ReplyDeleteNope....SUV...to replace the old one...pretty snappy, too!!
DeleteI love your mug! So very fall looking. I just finished a Royal Gala apple - my favourite. Your supper sounds so yummy. It's raining here and 11C but dropping to -1 by sunrise. Brrrr. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love apples?
DeleteFunny day here as well...temps dropping for the weekend...:o(
You are just like me in that way....noticing the little serendipity things that make us smile. :) What a lovely few moments with your tea, apple and acorns! :)
ReplyDeleteYes....I knew you would get it Betsy! ♥
DeleteAnd...believe it or not...it was not staged!!! Happened just as I wrote!
It was lovely.......
The wonderfully beautiful simplicity of everyday moments!
ReplyDeleteMy Darling wonders why we haven't raked the leaves yet.
Not only are they so very pretty on the ground, but there are far too many left in the trees to make raking profitable.
Love your autumn pictures. And I can smell the tea. Mmm!
:0)
I am with you on that one, Martha!!!
DeleteI am sure the cottage must be loaded after this week...
At least there...we can rake and burn....LOVE that!
The tea smelt awesome!
I just had my mug of apple cinnamon tea ... this one is actually cinnamon apple chamomile ... yummy. I like mine with Arrowroot cookies :)
ReplyDeleteLove the way all the autumn things just fell together for your photos.
Oh yes, Linda....I enjoy those with Miss V...almost like a childhood memory...eating Arrowroots!
DeleteThey did fall together...and I captured it!
Sounds like a lovely moment in your day. Sigh...wish I could have been there!
ReplyDeleteMe too...♥
DeleteHas a squirrel been on your desk moving things around?
ReplyDeleteMaybe....wouldn't be the first time! hahaha1
DeleteVery pretty fall photos and a cozy scene with your tea and apple. I love tea and I make time for two cups a day! I hardly drink any coffee but I do love my tea. :)
ReplyDeleteOh...I remember that you are a tea girl as well....
DeleteI do love a coffee in the morning...♥
I loved reading about your day - aren't ordinary days the most extraordinary? The ones that years from now we will still remember?
ReplyDeleteYour photography is beautiful! <3
Well thanks Stacy...
DeleteHope you come back for another visit....
Sounds so wonderful, you got lost 'in the moment'!
