Warts & All......

Yesterday turned into a rather beautiful sunny afternoon here...

As I was dusting the dining room...

        I noticed a new visitor...

I thought that this Violet was
        on its last legs...

But it presented me with a few
        fresh blooms...♥️

I have had this Frog Planter for a
        very long time.....

My daughter Lissa gave it to me...

He has seen many plants come
        and go....

        I love him....

        Warts and all  ♥️

                                          ************

       No trip to the cottage...

The winds were gusting up to 80 kms down there...

We decided to pass this week...

       Next week........for sure!

                                          ************

Hope you are all having a great day...

              Enjoy your evening...

                    On the menu tonight...

                            Dry rub oven roasted ribs...

                                 Onion soup potatoes and carrots...

                                     Greek salad...

                                  Cheers!   :o)

  3. That frog planter is super cute - warts and all. Love the close up of the violet. And, a nice selfie. It was a beautiful spring day here but we're in for a bad nor'easter tomorrow with snow, ice pellets and freezing rain. April is arriving on Tuesday isn't it? Dear me. It's getting beyond depressing!

  5. And I thought you were talking about me. Loving me warts and all. TeeHee. Mr. Frog is just so dang cute. I would love him warts and all too. How fun to find a new bloom when you thought it was "over".

Dinner sound good. How nice to have a lovely sunny day. We rocked and rolled with an 5.1 earthquake in CA... No damage at our house.. Our son had a few thing fall of the shelves.

    Sending love and smiles

  6. Cute planter. It's nice to get 'just because' gifts from the kids. That's a nice shade of violet. And who is that pretty lady in the mirror? :) Great photo in your very 'welcoming' dining-room. It's been very dark and dull today so I headed to a pottery show. I could have spent a fortune. :-b Have a great evening, Linda. Hugs

  9. For a second I thought you had warts but I see it is a mere frog you are referring to. I am relieved.
