Front Garden...Small... But Lush...
Took these photos last week...
Wednesday, in fact...
My front garden is all perennials...
No grass to cut...
Only perennials to admire...
After my tour..
I needed...
A...
Butter tart...
To soothe my soul...
And cover it in sugary goodness...
The Moon is from Wednesday...
Weekend was cloudy at night...
Hope you all saw it!
Enjoy your week...
Cheers! :o)

It may be small, but it is perfectly formed!! xx
ReplyDeleteWell thanks Amy...I do love the size and varieties of flowers...
DeleteThankyou Linda, that was lovely!
ReplyDeleteNo problem Kathy b....anytime!
DeleteNothing soothes any Canadian's soul like a butter tart.
ReplyDeleteOh you got that right Debra!
DeleteEspecially a gooey one! hahaha!
the moon was beautiful last week we did get to see it.... your flowers are lovely. I love those faces ...and the daylily; we have them everywhere around here and I swear they are waving at me as I drive past them ....The butter tart sounds yummy! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Marisa....you always leave such nice comments!
DeleteMuch appreciated!
thats an amazing moon shot!!! I love the posture of the first frog, so calm, and contemplating,
ReplyDeleteYes...thinking...what shall I do next?
DeleteNothing? I'm on it!
If I live in the town I'd want a front garden that is all plants and no grass ... but alas, living in the country, means big wanna be lawn areas with garden areas plopped here and there. Yummy butter tarts ... can you eat just one???
ReplyDeleteYes I can Linda....I freeze them....just take one out when I feel the urge!
DeleteOur cottage is floating beds...and grass...lots of fun for the boyfriend to cut it! hahaha!
Lots of beauty in your garden this week. It rained buckets yesterday but not so much today. Rather dark and over-cast though. Butter tarts are one of those things I can only eat one of. Probably best. ;-) My aunt used to make the best I had ever eaten. She actually sold them in a bakeshop along with cream buns. Those are yeast buns filled with a light cream almost like whipped cream. They were very popular and fattening :-o. Hope you have a good week, Linda. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteWe got 4 drops around 4 oclock!!!!
DeleteMy planters and pots were all wilted when we got home on Sunday...
Hope the cottage gets some rain!
Your Aunt sounds like someone handy to have around! hahaha!
I am sure that butter tart was divine - yum, lucky soul being covered by all that sugary goodness.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the cottage.
Nice full moon
Loved the photos Linda :)
Oh it was Eddie...and I ate it ever so slowly...delectable!
DeleteBut you didn't leave ANY for me!!! . . . lol
DeleteHey Linda, not sure whether you have seen my latest reply at my place.
I've discovered the the Kerr families had their own clan called, yes, the Kerr Clan.
I've found your tartan just in case you fancy making a kilt but you would need 7 yards of it.
see website:

Now that research must be worth a Butter Tart.
Yes...next time I defrost one...I'll think of you...as I devour every last morsel!
DeleteMy Dad had several Viyella shirts in the plaid...Loved when he wore them!
ohhhhh...I might cry!
Serve you right for not giving me any Butter Tart . . . .
DeleteBut seriously I am touched by your feelings towards your daddy.
I say daddy because my daughter sent me a Father's Day Card saying, "Anyone can be a Father but it takes someone real special to be a Daddy".
Now you can excuse me while I cry!! . . . .night!
I love your garden, your flowers and....your tart:)
ReplyDeletexo
Did you call me a tart, Gloria? hahaha!
DeleteYou are hilarious!

DeleteYum to the tart! I could use a piece of that right now with some coffee!
ReplyDeleteAre those checkered lilies? Beautiful.
