A quick walk to the park yesterday, proved to be a delightful experience!
Miss V loves to blow the heads off seeding dandelions!!
I am guilty of showing her how to do this, and it never fails to entertain her...and me!!
She beat me home, too!!
Hope you are all having a great day...
It was the nothing weather wise...cloud all day...few raindrops...chilly!!
I got some freezer jam made, and 2 delicious loaves...
Dinner will be buttermilk mashed potatoes...
Grilled Pork Tenderloin medallions..
Sauteed mushrooms, peppers and onion...
I have been taking pictures of my meals lately...so I will post an extravaganza of food soon!!
Enjoy your evening...
What are your plans for Canada Day??
Cheers! :o)
linda
I used to love doing that to dandelions when I was a child. Your dinner sounds soooo good. Wish we lived close enough that you could invite me over. Yum! That last picture of Miss V peeking out of the door is just adorable!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy....long time no see!
DeleteI would, if you did!
I'm spending Canada Day on a plane to Winnipeg. Enjoy your celebrations tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteYou too Debra! Enjoy!
DeleteMiss V blowing the dandelion.....well, that's just precious!
ReplyDeleteIt is.....isn't it?♥️
DeleteWe called them dandelion clocks when I was little, depending on how many blows it took to blow all the seeds off that was what the time was. Does that make sense? Hope you had a great Canada Day! Weather here very hot, dry and sunny, getting hotter all the time, we are having a bit of a heatwave all of a sudden! xx
ReplyDeleteI saw on the news about your heat wave....keep watering!
DeleteYour explanation makes perfect sense......hahaha!
Tomorrow is Canada Day....it is supposed to rain :o(
I just adore the little pout photo of her blowing on the dandelion!!
ReplyDeleteSuch expression,eh Laurie?
DeleteVery cute to see little Miss V blowing the heads off Dandelions . . .

DeleteI never grow tired of dandelion puffs either. They are new with every child that comes along.
ReplyDeleteCanada Day, eh? I am planning to work 5 hours tomorrow.
And come the 4th of July I will be working eight hours, but I'll be home in time for a few backyard fireworks.
:0)
Yup....Canada Day....WHOOPPEE! Would rather have a long weekend!
DeleteEnjoy your 4th.....
Dandelions should be on everyone's daily to-do list! They are fun!
ReplyDeleteYes...they sure are! Except when the lawn is full of them!
DeleteOh my I could just squeeze those cheeks!
ReplyDeleteRained here all day...We need sun and heat! No plans for tomorrow.
Just the usual yard work!
No rain here today...just a few sprinkles...no plans here either...
DeleteEnjoy your gardening!
Plans for Canada Day? I'm out of action, for quite a while, so Chris is prepping the house for renos all by himself.
ReplyDeletePerhaps I'll blow dandelion clocks!
Jane x
Sounds like a plan Jane! Hope you feel better....soon!
DeleteI did the same thing when I was a kid lol ! Lovely photos . Papa is working as he had Monday off in lieu of Wed so as it will be a nice day I will be puttering in my gardens . Oh supper sounds delish ! Thanks for sharing and Happy Canada Day to you all there !
ReplyDeleteHappy puttering Elaine!
DeleteSweet girl doing sweet things! When I was a kid I also loved picking those tall, flat blades of grass, stretching them between my thumbs and blowing through them. Made the best noise!
ReplyDeleteNot sure about tomorrow as I just found out my Mom is in the hospital, so hoping the morning brings some good news.
Happy Canada Day!
Yup...remember that too! I never had any luck with actually getting a noise though!!
DeleteOh dear...hope your Mom is ok...fingers crossed...
I used to like blowing on dandelions, too! such fun to watch the seeds float away.
ReplyDeletefor my birthday I plan on sleeping in and then working out and then having breakfast that Mark has made for me. In the afternoon a wander down to the park for the festivities!
Sounds like a perfect day...and birthday!! Best wishes to you ♥️
DeleteI love those sweet puffed cheeks blowing on the dandelion head. What adorable photos. I hope you have a super Canada Day and that the sun is shining for a change. Rain starting here about suppertime so we'll probably hibernate here at home. :(
ReplyDeleteMe too, Pam!!
DeleteI think we are in for some rain shortly...
Boyfriend and I got a few jobs done in the yard...
You have a great day...in spite of the rain!!
Well someone's got to get those dandelion seeds scattered further afield!! Looks like another unsettled day with fog rolling through the tree tops. Oh! The sun is starting to peek out! I think I'll head down to the parks along the lake and enjoy a few hours there before things get really crazy busy and no parking! Enjoy your day :)
ReplyDeleteWendy
