Enjoying The New Arrangement......



      I had the pleasure today, of picking up Miss V early afternoon at daycare....
      Her Mom is suffering with a cold, so I thought she should spend the afternoon with us....
      We had a quick park visit.....during a short rain free period.....gosh, terrible weather!
      And the humidity and wind got cranked up.....
      Anyway....prior to the park.....and after our cake, berries and yogurt.....
      She was enjoying the new arrangement in "her" room.... here at Nana & Papas!
      She enjoyed using her "tablet" at her Auntie Lissa's old table and chairs....
      Papa picked up the "tablet" at a thrift shop for $1.50!
      All it needed was new batteries!
      Has lots of programmes, songs, counting and rhymes in it!
      She loves using the "mouse",   Too funny!
      After the park, she was kinda sweaty, so I suggested a bath....
      She got all her bath toys out, and hopped in....
      After her blow dry.....I thought she should have Nanas rollers in for a while....
      How cute is that face!
      Then....into her crocodile jammies....more "tablet" time!
      We drove her home after dinner....very happy to see her mommy♥️
      We also visited with my other daughter Lissa and SIL Jeff....
      Tomorrow is his birthday, so we were able to drop off his card and gift....
       A very enjoyable day indeed!
       I was also fortunate to find a lovely new cotton blanket....and new sheets for us, at Winners...
       Gotta love that place!

Very unsettled weather here today....strange weather indeed!
Having dinner guests tomorrow evening....
My friend Devon that moved to BC LAST September, is in town for her sons University graduation....
Her and hubby Mark will be dining with boyfriend and I here at home....poolside!
I also need to finish up my Maritimes trip....
Will get busy on that........soon......hopefully!
Never a full moment around here!
Posting on my Ipad....on the couch.....LAZEEEEE! Hahaha!

    Miss V looks so 'grown up' in this last pic. What a fun day. I look forward to these times with my Elsie but I have to admit---they can zap the energy out of someone that hasn't had little ones around for awhile.

    I really love the little room you have made for your girl..so precious!

    Bad weather here as well...rain and humidity. Never ending and weird!

      Oh yes....zapped after every adventure!! hahaha!
      She is in the big bed now...not shown in the pictures...must get one of her in there! lLooks so tiny!

    I bet she's thrilled to have her own spot! What a deal on the tablet. She's a very intent reader - I was/am like that too. Crazy weather today... Monsoon rain or bright sunshine. Mother Nature must have had a headache!

      Has always liked the room we made for her...now has a big bed...took the playpen out, and moved the table and chairs in!
      She feels right at home!!

    What a cute little corner for a sweet little girl - you have had fun getting it ready for her. And I wish I had a girly pink tablet, too - what a great find! It must be such a joy to have Vivian so frequently in your life :)

    Miss V is growing so quickly. I'm sure she loves Nana's house. Our granddaughter told her teacher that she loves Saturdays the best as that is when Granny and Grandad visit. Kids are so sweet aren't they? No rain here, so it seems like a nice day sandwiched in between a couple of wet ones.

    Love the new arrangement in V's room! So nice and all the toys and books look so inviting! And the tub photo is SO cute. I have so many tub photos of my boys...always so cute....and toys strategically placed to preserve some privacy....lol.... My boys loved to make shampoo horns on their heads with their hair. ha.
    Love the rollers in her hair....makes me wish for a little girl to play beauty shop with!

      Her bed is on the other wall...it looks pretty good! That used to be my sons room...he is jealous! hahaha!
      Lots of shampoo hairdos here as well...♥️
      Must get her a tea set for her birthday! I remember the hundreds with my girls!!

    Had little Peter and we had a great time. as always. I fetched plastic tricycle down from the loft which his 'daddy' used to ride as a toddler. We cleaned it up and dried it and he tried to ride it but could not reach the bottom cycle of the pedals yet ~ a few more weeks . . )

    What a lovely day you spent with Miss V. yesterday, she is super cute in those photos! Hope you had fun with your dinner guests tonight, at least it was perfect weather. Spent the day in Niagara on the Lake at a great performance with my girlfriend. Hope you remembered to give hugs to Devon for me! :)

      HI Kris....
      It was a great buy...we were so shocked when it just needed new batteries!! Thought we would have to download a few programmes, but they are all still there! She loves to sit and move the mouse around!!

    She is such a sweetheart! It must have been fun to set up the room for her with a few toys. I'll bet she loves to visit her Grandma & Grandpa!
