Family & A Birthday!!!

This is me on the Friday of last weekend...
The scary clouds were nowhere to be seen that day...
It was still pretty rough and windy, so we sat near the back of the beach deck in the late day shade...

On the Sunday...when all the kids came...it was terribly windy...
Could not put the big umbrellas up...so we found a sheltered spot on the west of the property...and stuck up a few smaller umbrellas for some much needed shade...
I brought out a blanket and a few of Miss V's things for her to play with...
Aunt Lissa did some colouring!!! Who doesn't love a brand new colouring book with fresh crayons??
Miss V was more interested in Uncle Ryan...and her latest thing...climbing up him!!! He lets her do anything and never complains♥️

There was also a birthday to celebrate! Anna...my sons girlfriend...was 33! This was one of my gifts to her! The apron says..."Will Cook For Bling"...
She has been working very hard at cooking, as they are both vegans...and she is also gluten free, for her own health...hopefully Ryan will take the hint, and get her some "Bling"...
Happy Birthday Anna♥️

We had a potluck dinner...with everyone pitching in...everything was delicious!!

Hope you are all having a great day...
Kinda cloudy here...and windy...
Hope to get off to the cottage in the morning...

Gonna have some Grilled Salmon...grilled taters..yellow and green beans...
and...I think also some tomatoes and goats cheese...

             Enjoy your evening...

                           Cheers!  :o)

i'm so glad you showcased anna in this post. we've had glimpses of her at birthdays...
but oh! that beautiful smile. she's just adorable there posing in her cool little apron!
maybe they just don't want to jinx it with a piece of paper.
uh oh! no offense to your more conventional readers. i love the idea of tying the knot too.
just think... you could do the fabulous flowers... and it could be held in the cottage gardens... YES!
and she'll be getting such a beautiful and wonderful and talented mother in law...
