Any Day Now......

My fabulous Jade plant...

Is almost ready to bloom...

Any day now...

Hope you are all having a great day...

                   Kooky weather here...

                   Rain overnight...sunshine...cloud...gusty brisk winds...

                   Going out for dinner tonight...

Thanks for all your helpful hints...

About keeping warm at the cottage...

                    Much appreciated....hahaha!!

I better get busy crocheting night caps for the boyfriend and I♥️

Got Miss V home safe and sound last night...

She was happy to see her Mommy...

She was back at work today...but still feeling kinda punky...

Antibiotics will start to kick in soon♥️

Thanks for your get well wishes...

Guess it is that time of year, when these nasty bugs start lurking...

Hope they don't find me this year...

                         Enjoy your evening...

                               Cheers!  :o)

  1. That green is so vibrant and the little blossoms so delicate. Very pretty.
Hope you and Miss V avoid her nasty bug and stay healthy.
Loved the sun today! Such a beautiful autumn we're enjoying.

  3. I have a jade plant now..maybe 3 yrs ago..someone gave me a cute pot..for indoors..by my sink..I always had a lush baby's tears..It was so big..like 10 inches across..I moved it and it sulked until it went to plant heaven..so I took this new pot and bought a wee jade plant..it's big and happy and lush..
    no blooms yet..do you fertilize?

    1. Baby's years are so cute....but very finicky!
It sulked? That is a good way of putting it!
No....but I put her outside for the summer...maybe that is the key....

    3. Sometimes you have to be harsh with them...tell them who's boss!! and then...they flower! hahaha!
      Have a great weekend Eddie!

    4. I wonder what Eddie says to his plants, Linda.

    5. Linda, I cannot imagine you being harsh . . . . haha

Blue, I must be very cruel to them ~ only cacti survive . . . . . lol

    6. No kidding, Eddie. Maybe you should read them a poem. No? You're so good at writing them.

  7. My poor Jade plants don't stand a chance of blooming.
Maybe if I put one in a bigger pot and let it grow huge.
    I'm just a little jealous.

    2. I always take them out in the summer.
And then I pinch them back and make babies.

    3. Well......maybe you are pinching off where they might bloom!
Gosh.....you are the BEST at making babies! :o)

  8. I really need to go buy myself a Jade plant. I brought my spider plant out of my freezing cold bedroom into the livingroom so I hope I don't kill it.

You could crochet nose warmers! http://www.amazon.com/Aunt-Martys-Original-Nose-Warmer/dp/B00MVAL5XI%3FSubscriptionId%3DAKIAILSHYYTFIVPWUY6Q%26tag%3Dduckduckgo-d-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB00MVAL5XI

  9. Jade plants bloom?? I had no idea. We have an old decrepit one here that was Murray's mothers. It's pathetic and would be 2 feet tall if it wasn't bent over like an old lady. LOL I've staked it but it needs better care. And its too spindly. I'm tempted to toss it but he's attached to it I think. I hope you have a nice weekend.

  10. When I was a kid and a bigger idiot than I am today, I thought I could eat my Momma's Jade plant. I swear I still know what they taste like. YIKES!

    3. Not sick, Linda. But they taste terrible. So different from M&M's....

    4. Tell...I guess so! Not many things taste as good as M&M's!

  11. I had a large jade plant in Santa Barbara....it was beautiful...but then everything you planted there was beautiful...perfect weather for plants. I miss that. Glad Miss V is doing better. Sending Hugs.

  13. You have a green thumb with your indoor plants. Much cooler here today, but no snow in our forecast. Enjoy the last sleepovers at the cottage.

  14. So sorry to hear your girl was under the weather, seems like the bugs have been rampant lately as opposed to later in the winter months. The up side for you was having that little cutie with you although I know her mommy was missing her:)

Not much luck in the things we've discussed. No spending time with her alone unless it's at their house and no overnights. No explanation and why pry? I hope my home is safe, clean and we are loving enough...simply don't understand their fears. And between you and I, just found out today another is on the way. I'm overjoyed but wish we could reach a compromise on the issues at hand.

I hope I'm not burdening you with this. The relationship you have with V is the one we should be having with E.

Thank you for lending an ear.
