  7. Those sammies will be in our future. Turkey carcass in the crockpot overnight with veggies for soup tomorrow ... we have a cold clipper headed our way in Northern Michigan so the turkey soup will be tasty. LOVE a good, hearty soup with some crusty good bread, a nice piece of cheese, a fruit salad for dessert and a nice crisp glass of wine ... let the wind howl!! Linda

  8. Hey Linda, your sandwich looks delicious, although I couldn't eat it if you paid me to. We had a great day with family and lots of food. I just finished cleaning the kitchen for the final time today and I'm beat. I was in the kitchen by 7 a.m. and stayed there until dinner was served around 1 p.m. This day with family was worth every bit of it. Hope you have a great weekend. Heading to your cottage?

  9. Scrumptious sammie! Just got in from a lovely pizza dinner with a good friend. Have not felt up to eating out for two months, so I was a bit nervous, but everything was fine.
Lovely walk there and back tonight. So mild out.
