All Packed...Anxious To Go...

I have bought a few balls of lovely soft wool...

All packed....

Ready to go...

With me...[and my boyfriend]

On our road trip...

Once we reach our sunny destination...

My hands...

And Brain...

Will be busy most nights...

After a lovely walk on the beach...:o)

Creating a lovely afghan for my daughter..  :o)

And anything else that suits me....

I packed a couple of patterns...

One for an adorable hooded sweater...for Vivian...:o)

AND...

One for a cool "adult" toque...perhaps for my favorite dog-walker...and YOU know who you are...:o)

I love the softness of this wool...and I seem to be partial to the creams, greys and the soft green....I have used all of these colors before....Funny....that I bought all the same colors again!!!:o)

Perhaps these are more "Wintry" colors...I shall have to pick up some softer pastels in the future....I am looking forward to shopping the "Wool" aisle at Target....perhaps something a little different....A change is always good, eh??

Are you working on any small projects right now???

I will share my progress [or lack of progress]...

                 Along the way.....

We will be on the road by early afternoon...

Wish us luck in this crappy weather...

I guess we are lucky that it isn't snow!!!

Will check in along the way...

To see what you have all been up to!!!

                                Cheers!!!      :o)

  5. I envy you the walks on the beach ... I can feel the sand between my toes.
Lovely yarn colours, will enjoy seeing the finished items. I'm making a dolly blanket out of some left over yarn. A little girl can never have too many dolly blankets. Still need to get yarn for the sweater pattern you gave me.
Safe journey. I'll be waiting to see some news from you while in the sunny south.
    Have fun.

  7. Well Linda, I didn't know you are driving all the way. I pray you will have safe travels and great weather from start to finish. The yarns you chose are pretty especially the grey and white marled one. Enjoy your vacation and the beautiful weather. Hugs and blessings, Pamela
