Dinner was delish!!!
DeleteThe sweater set is so sweet. I like the touch of blue in the pompom. ;)
ReplyDeleteI get a kick out of making these little things!!!
DeleteAdorable sweater set! What time's dinner?
ReplyDeleteHahahaha...you are LATE!!!!
DeleteThat is one cute sweater. Do you have a link to the pattern or did you create it. There are a couple of babies coming to my friends families and it would be an adorable little gift.
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest...I kinda created it!!!
DeleteIf you recall the one I made for Vivian...well this was my first attempt...
I had left it n one of my knitting bags...found it last week...and fixed it up!!! The original pattern is one piece...starting with the back...add on for the sleeves...and then decrease and split for the front...With this one, I added onto the front, by going sideways..if that makes any sense.. I will look for the original pattern...scan it..and email to you..
Yes, Samuel will look adorable in that outfit. Love that color of green!
ReplyDeleteMe too...it is a very soft color...
DeleteIt adorable! I'm sure Samuel with be quite handsome in his new sweater and pom pom hat.
ReplyDeleteI am becoming the "Queen" of the pom-pom hat...eh Martha? hahaha....
DeleteEh! :)
DeleteAdorable outfit for Samuel, what a lovely name for a little boy and a little friend for Vivian. There is nothing better than a handmade gift, the wool is lovely. I would love to learn a skill such as yours. Make sure you teach Vivian how to make them and keep those skills in the family. Superb Linda X
ReplyDeleteHe will be a little friend for Vivian...the mom's are very close friends...
DeleteDon't laugh...I have already decided that I want to teach Vivian to cook!!! SO...I may as well add crocheting and sewing to that list!!!
It's a good idea honestly. I believe that children's experiences with grandparents stay with them into adult lives. Most of my childhood memories were spent with my grandparents in their garden, when I think of family, I am with them. I remember smells, tastes and having great fun. I am sure Vivian will surprise you later with all the good times she will remember.
DeleteSuch a wonderful thought Lisa...I sure hope so!!
DeleteAdorable. It's a great cheery colour and he'll need a nice sweater set in this weather. You should get a picture of the two pals in their outfits! Please consider a crochet class so we can all learn this....adorable.
ReplyDeleteIn the Spring...we will get together...once all the "travelling"is done for a while..I must say, I am surprised that you don't crochet, Leslie??? You do all the ohter crafts SOOO well...
