Here are a few more pictures from the cottage last week....
It certainly was a beautiful sight, with all the fresh snow....
Today.....we got the tree undressed and out to the curb...
Not such a bad job this year...
Took my time...
Not TOO many needles...
After I thought I had everything put away...I keep finding things...
So....
Now....
The dining room table is piled high with odds and ends...
I also gave my plants a good going over...
Tossed a few....watered...fertilized...
Happy campers....:o)
And for thos e of you who have been watching that small stone on the beach...
Still there.......but covered in icicles...there is a shot included...the icicly one...
Enjoy the snowy walk....
That is.....
If you haven't had enough of the snow already!!!
As I walk around....I wish for the summer again...
But...
It won't be that long....
Yah...right!!!!
On the menu tonight...
Laziness....
Costco rotisserie chicken...
French Fries....
Swiss Chalet dipping sauce...
Tomatoes and avacadoes...
But....
I did make a scrumptuous
pot of beefy soupy stewey thingy...from the left over pot roast...for lunch tomorrow...
Hope you all had a great day...
Cheers! :o)

everyone likes that picture....I took that at the end of September...she has really grown!!!
DeleteI'm never tired of pretty snow scenes. These are beautiful Linda. I love how the snow lays in the tree in the first picture and how it blankets the side of the cottage. Amazing beauty. And the rock is still there. ;) It's bitterly cold here at -13 today and -18 last night. Winter is making itself known across the land.
ReplyDeleteYes...the rock is still there!!!
DeletePerhaps we will get back out this weekend...
Sorry that you are buried in snow and freezing!!!!
Just got back from our walk...pretty chilly here as well...
Is that a pink flamingo I spy in the window looking out over the snow?
ReplyDeleteGood to hear the little rock is still there, probably frozen in place for the winter. It will be interesting to see if it becomes dislodged with the thaw. I love the clean snowy photos. Unfortunately the piles at the front of our house are already dirty looking for the grit on the roads.
Yes...that belonged to my Mom...it is pink alabaster...isn't it cool???
DeleteOur street still looks pretty good, but we live on a small court, so not much traffic...will keep my eye on the rock!!
Your winter pics are lovely! You had a lot of drifting..which makes for very cool snowy scenes! I laughed at the pink flamingo, too! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I love rotiserrie chicken nights...that's my shopping day meal! ha.
It was delicious!!!! Lots leftover as well...hmmmmm...
ReplyDeleteI like how the snow peels off the house and hangs in ribbons. :)
ReplyDeleteYes MArtha.....cool eh????
DeleteHope you had a good New Years...
Such beauty all around you!!! Love those photos!!!! I too have removed all of the Christmas from the house. I noticed last night, that I forgot the Christmas flag out front. I best go change that today.
ReplyDeleteWe are heading up to the mountains tomorrow, and we shall enjoy the snow, and our beloved Big Bear Lake!
xo Kris
I know you will have a great time at Big Bear....
