While I Was Out....
While I was out yesterday...
My lovely "gifted" Hyacinth...
Decided to make herself known...
I had taken the photo to the right,on Wednesday afternoon...
But...
When I arrived home late yesterday afternoon...
There she was...
In all her mauvey purpley bluey glory...
She changes in every shot...
Must be the lighting!!!
Thanks Devon...
She is just lovely...
Here she is...
For you all to enjoy as well......
Still trying to get the "hang" of my new camera...
Seems my "macro' shots are still a bit blurry...
Oh well...onward and upward....
Visited the cottage yesterday...lots of unexpected work to be done
on our beloved sunporch...
But....the old doll is certainly worth it...
Took a lot of photos...will put together and post this weekend..
Vivian coming for he afternoon...so excited...I am going to kiss
her little face off!!!!
Hope you are all having a great day...
Dreary...wet...soggy...warm here...snow melting!!!
On the menu for this Friday night...
Homemade Pizza....made with sliced tomatoes, black olives..
Fresh Basil...Goat Cheese...drizzled with Olive Oil...
No Mozzarella for us...too fattening!!!
and on my boyfriends half..
Smoked Salmon....
To be served with a with a side salad....
not decided yet!!!
Think I will take Vivian to the grocery store with me...
Show her off....my daughter started up their Floral Department...
So a lot of the gals know her...and would love to see Vivian..:o)
Wish me luck......
Cheers! :o)

The flower is so pretty! Wish I could smell it too!! Your dinner sounds good! Have fun with the little one, and enjoy showing her off.
ReplyDeleteHey...couple of questions for you Linda.....
1. Do you live in Canada?
2. How far away is your cottage from your home?
That's all....for now.
; ) xo Kris
To be honest...Hyacinths kinda smell like Narcissus...not really all that nice!!!
DeleteI think they smell better IN the garden...just sayin'..haha..
I will email you...yes I am in Canada...and proud of it!!!
Gorgeous springtime colour for a dreary winter day. That is a great pick-me-up. Enjoy your afternoon with Vivian. Oh. It's sunny here. Beautiful blue skies too. :)

It's when we take time to look at a flower when we realize how beautiful it really is. Love those pics, Linda. Love a home-made pizza, too, I must admit. Well, there goes new year's resolution #2.... I won't blame you, of course ;)
