Last year I did a post of White Flowers...
This year...
I am posting about some of my favorite White things...
At home here...
My white Peonies in my favorite rabbit jug, that my daughter gave me....
And...
Of course...
At the cottage...
Like when I painted the sunporch floor...
When it REALLY needed it...
Or my daughter's Golden Retreiver Lola...lounging after a swim at the cottage...:o)
Even a dandelion can be beautiful...
At the right time....
Lily-of-the-valley opens up and almost explodes....
Cosmos...One of my ALL TIME favorite annuals...sometimes will self-sow...
Fragrant white garden phlox...in June it smells heavenly...
Some favorite white Muskoka chairs for catching the last sun of the day...
Who doesn't love White Forget-Me-Nots??? WHO??? Not me...:o)
Some white milk glass...nestled amongst beach and garden finds...
Just waiting for some fresh flowers from the garden...
To greet everyone into the cottage..
OMG....pralines and cream ice cream with butterscotch sauce....
Now you know....I love butterscotch...and ice cream...trouble is...
It doesn't love me...So....it is about a twice a year treat...and...
Oh...how I look forward to that!!!
White Pansies.....a true hint of Spring....greeting friends and family...
For Easter Dinner...
Ahhhhh...the Shamrock plant...thriving in my boyfriends office...perfect!
Delicate White Daffodils....don't last nearly long enough!!
The white pinafore that I made to refurbish my oldest girls' Raggedy Anne...
That I had made for her....probably....30 years ago!!!
My white open shelving in the kitchen cottage...
With plenty of vintage white serving bowls and platters...
To serve my guests delicious meals on....
My cute little thinga-ma-jiggy with the striped stockings that sits in my office with me....
My tiny gas stove in the cottage kitchen that I spray painted gleaming white...
My vintage corning ware butter keeper...
My beloved Datura plants....a BIG favorite....
An almost all white African Violet...some White Phlox...Star Of Bethlehem...
My boyfriend....in his white ball cap...
Feeding the white seagulls...with the small whitecaps on the Lake...
And my white farm sink in the kitchen cottage...oh yes...
Or the white painted floor!!! With the mirrored bread box...
That I painted white!!
Hope you are still with me...
Think I will have to do another white post...
Hardly made a dent in the pictures I had chosen!!!!
Hope you all had a great day...
I had another very busy one...
Had my friend D over for lunch...
And we were joined by my daughter and Vivian....
Had a great visit....
And a lovely lunch....
On the menu tonight....
Oven baked Tilapia...wild rice...grilled veggies...
Enjoy the rest of your day...
Hope there wasn't too many pictures for you to get thru!!
Cheers! :o)

I like your Star of Bethlehem. We had those growing in the yard at our old house.
ReplyDeleteI like white wedding cake and vanilla ice cream, sweet coffee creamer, and sugar cookies. :)
It grows everywhere....even in the lawn!!
DeleteI like all of your white things too!!
Loved the list of whites! There are so many white things in our world that we take for granted. The Corning butter dish matches my Butterfly Gold Corelle. I love your white farmhouse sink. The photos are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam...I think I will do another white post...I only went thru ONE of my picasa albums!!!
DeleteI love your "cute little thinga-ma-jiggy with the striped stockings"! Is that a sugar bowl? Just love the attitude. Think I'll buy some flowers tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI am going to buy some more flowers tomorrow as well!!!
DeleteI love white, too! You have lots of gorgeous white things and flowers!
ReplyDeleteI love butterscotch on icecream, too...oh yum!
I will take maple syrup in a pinch!! hahaha!!
DeleteMercy me...how on earth did I miss three posts? Three wonderful posts!! All of that pink....so pretty. And then you and your Vivian.....I loved that!!!! And this post...all of the white, so nice. That stove was like one we had, many years ago, when we lived in a little teeny tiny Craftsman Style house. LOVED that stove. But the best, oh the very best...be still my heart, is the apron front farm sink. I adore it. I want one for my kitchen in the worst way!!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful visit with your son!!
XO Kris
Oh thanks Kris....that sink is original to the cottage...early 30's!!!
DeleteI would love to have it refinished...I made the curtain last summer, and I think that adds a lot of style...had a great visit with my son, and we will all be together for Easter...
Enjoy your weekend...jealous of your warm weather!!!
I love all your white things ... Especially that little pot with legs.
ReplyDeletemy thinga-ma-jiggy...yes, I HAD to have that when I found it at a thrift shop!!!
DeleteOH MY GOSH. definitely NO. NOTTOOMANY pictures! i loved them all.
ReplyDeletewhite is my color. well. non color. or all color or whatever it is ~ it's dreamy.
I never tire of it. your little kitchen stove is adorable. and the same size as mine here in the wren house. mine is all white too.
I ate up every image here. no calories only enjoyment! and speaking of . . .
that vanilla ice cream with butterscotch sauce ~ oh my. and i'm lucky it doesn't bother me at all. except I gain 5 lbs just looking at it. LOL.
