DeleteWishing for warmer days here too Linda, your cottage garden looks fabulous, looking forward to seeing further updates. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat was last year...I will be posting pictures from yesterday...quite a difference!
DeleteLast year was so wonderful at this time of the year. I've been looking back in some photo archives and we were walking along the Trent River enjoying the water, the sand, the calmness and most of all the warmth!!! What a contrast to snow, ice, wind, and cold for this year. Dreaming ... dreaming ... dreaming ...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your visit to the cottage.
Well..I got snow, ice and cold coming up!!
DeleteLast year was memorable. I had summer for my birthday in March. I don't suppose the fruit trees will blossom early this year. Last year many of them froze when the cold weather returned. Maybe this year we'll actually get peaches and cherries. :)
ReplyDeleteI think maybe I'll take a drive and sit on your beach when summer gets here.
Didn't see any buds on anything!!!
DeleteSee you this summer!!
Oh that is hard to believe looking at the three foot snow drifts here!! Sure am sick of it. Shovelling seems to be my routine each day!!! Yuk!! Can't wait for the warm weather to show up. It seems you have some pretty yummy dinners girl!! Wish I was there to enjoy one or two...Ann
ReplyDeleteCall me next time you are down!!!
DeleteYes, we had the same heat wave here last year. Oh well. The weather is so different from year to year, day to day. We have to take what we get. I hope you find some signs of spring at the beach. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNot many!!! Compared to last year...
Deletetruly amazing.
ReplyDeletemust get depressing at some point. i remember years in minnesota where the snow and cold were endless. month after month. walking across an ice covered RIVER! in april. aaaggghhh.
It is usually warmer at this time of year...Crazy Global Warming, I guess!!
DeleteYour dinner's always sound so delicious! You should open a restaurant.
ReplyDeleteHa! NEVER!!! I would go mental...good to see you are up and on the computer...feeling ok??
DeleteSeveral people have commented on this day last year and how warm it was! I guess that was the last hurrah of global warming. lol... We're supposed to get buried in snow on Sunday! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteDon't think we are in for more snow...warmer and sunny today...figers crossed...NO MORE SNOW!!!
DeleteThis time last year Mark took his first ride of the season on his motorcycle and we all know how THAT turned out!
ReplyDeleteI think we are all a little sick of winter at this point! Now no complaining when the summer is super hot and humid!

DeleteFor a moment there I thought that was a real chicken in your garden. Don't be out in any flip flops yet sister girl!
