Lunch With A Friend...
Had a lovely lunch the other day...
Invited my friend D...
And my daughter Erika and Vivian joined us...
I served egg salad sandwiches...
On my brown patterened Canton plate...
Quinoa Salad with peppers,red onion and black olives...
Vegetable tray and bread and butter pickles...
A nice cold jug of lemon water as well...
Served on my Mom's seagull glass plates...
Chunky Drinking Amber Glasses...
For dessert was my Banana-blueberry-lemon loaf...
With fresh strawberries,blackberries and blueberries...
Topped off with key-lime-pie no fat yogurt...
Served in my Mom's crystal compotes...:o)
Oh yes...
A spot of tea was in order as well...
Served in my Mom's teapot and assorted cups and saucers....
All on my thrift shop handpaintd tole serving tray....
My happy mauve African Violet joined us as well...
Happy little Vivian up in my office the other day...
Don't you just love that sleeper...
Carters...of course!!
Hope you are all having a great day...
I am mostly putzing...another grey,damp, cold day...:o(
My sister-in-law is joining us for dinner this evening...
On the menu tonight......
Homemade Meat spaghetti sauce...
Crusty bread and Ceasar salad....

What a fun and delicious lunch ... lots of my favourites, especially egg salad sandwiches. Love seeing you use all your special china.

DeleteThat looks so fun! I see you're finding those gigantic blackberries, like me...I just can't seem to get enough of them! Been eating them with yogurt for lunch most days..and sometimes having seconds. ha.
