Mine are blooming beautiful!!!
All of these plants flowered in the weeks leading up to Christmas...

What colours do you have???
Hope you are all having a great day...
Another busy day around here....
I have a ham bone in the slow cooker...
Will turn that into delicious Pea Soup...
I carved all the ham off. and made a platter that I will serve along
with the Turkey, on Friday.....
On the menu tonight....

An easy one for me tonight..
Must get cracking on my banana cream pie for Friday...
Very delicious...will share the recipe with you... :o)
Still need to get the table all set and decorated....tomorrow!!!!
Cheers! :o)

Your cacti are truly beautiful! I cannot say the same for mine. You know the one I mean! I have moved it to a more sunny location in hopes it blooms in the next year or ten!
ReplyDeleteI know the one....the one I gifted to you...perhaps it is time to put it in another pot, with some fresh soil....and a bit of fertilizer....maybe I bought a dud...oh no...I think that Leslie's bloomed, and I bought them together....hmmmm..I see a pattern here! hahaha...
DeleteHahaha, I can actually grown plants in my house. I have many, but this cactus is just not blooming. Within a week of moving it to a sunnier window it grew another thingee...sadly not a bloom. I will give it a little fertilizer and send it love :)
DeleteBeautiful cacti! I have only had one Christmas cactus; the flowers were fuschia-colored and I think it bloomed in mid-winter. I want to say January or February? But not really at Christmas, for whatever reason. Enjoy your pea soup; that's one of my favorites and I'll be making some after Easter with my leftover ham bone.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Jennifer...I will enjoy the pea soup...deelish!!
DeleteHappy Easter to you!
Usually mine bloom twice, but nothing since Christmas. :(
ReplyDeletePerhaps for Mother's Day!!!
DeleteMine bloomed at Christmas and last month too, but just a few blooms each time. I've never seen a peach coloured one before. They are all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam...I love the peach one as well...I lost 2 plants while in Florida...guess they were worn out!!
DeleteThose cacti are beautiful! nice job! love those pictures of the cardinal :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Doll...I added your blog to my sidebar...it looks great!!!
DeleteOh yeah....the Cardinal...beautiful, eh??
DeleteI have disallowed myself to buy live plants and flowers because they deserve a chance. They don't get a chance at my house.
ReplyDeleteThat is just ridiculous, Birdie...anybody can grow house plants...Right Devon? hahaha...
DeleteYes, if you get the right ones. Spider plants and the like are easy and can be ignored for long periods of time and then when you remember them they quickly whip themselves into shape so you feel like a gardener!
DeleteGreat advise....are you listening, Birdie???
DeleteMine are doing the same thing. I'll post mine tomorrow. I've even named mine :). Sorry to hear Devon is having no luck.
ReplyDeleteFantastic Leslie...Is one of them the one I gave you???
DeleteIf so....Devon is in real trouble!!!
Did you name one of them "Linda"??? hahaha..
DeleteOf course. The white one you gave me is Miss Linda :)
DeleteAwwwww....thanks Leslie!!! or...I should say...Miss Leslie!!
DeleteThis must be the year...you are the third blogger that said their christmas cactus was blooming for easter! :)
ReplyDeleteAll us "green thumbs" eh??
Deletesome of these pictures... just brilliant.
ReplyDeleteand i like your classy initials on some too.

You're up awfully late!!!!
DeleteI promise to post pictures of my table...BEFORE we all eat!! hahaha...
Hope you have a wonderful Easter, Tammy...
