While the corned beef was simmering...
And the cabbage rolls were baking....
My boyfriend and I went for a drive, and ended up at Jack Darling Park....
On Lake Ontario...
In the village of Clarkson...
Only a short drive from home...
About 20 minutes....
My boyfriend did not dress for the weather...
ALthough bright and sunny...
There ws a pretty raw wind coming off the Lake...
Luckily he always keeps a ball cap in the back of the car!!!
And...
Within minutes had found himself a walking stick!!!
The skyline of Toronto was very visible in the distance...
The Canada Geese were plentiful...
As were the Seagulls...
But...no swans this time!!
It was great to get out...and get some fresh air...
You can see I had my Shamrock earrings on that day!!!
Hope you all had a great day....
Still crummy here....lots of small blizzards pop up out of nowhere....
Where the heck is Spring???
Oh yes....tomorrow at 7am.....RIGHT!!!!
On the menu tonight...
Pepper steak with green peppers, green onions and cherry tomatoes...
Served over No-Yolk noodles...
It was so chilly today, that I made a pot of Clam Chowder....yummy!!
Enjoy your evening...
Betsy....I tried the watermark...you were right....easy peasy!!!!
Cheers! :o)

ReplyDeleteI love that you can see Toronto that way. There is just something about a skyline like that...beautiful!
Stay warm! Our wind was frigid, too!

It is here today...but sure doesn't feel like it!!
DeleteI noticed your watermark. Nice! Great pics and views of the Toronto skyline and the goose! Happy Spring to you tomorrow! So how do you do your watermark? I'm curious. :)
ReplyDeleteI sent you an email on how to do the watermark...Happy Spring!!
DeleteMe and my bff normally run along that park every Sunday. We know how cold it can be during the winter months. VERY cold with the wind off the water....brr! Nice pics, tho! WIll it ever get warm???
ReplyDeleteIt still looks and feels like winter here too. I amused myself by tossing snowballs at the little girls while they waited for the bus this morning. Lots of dripping out there, but I'm not expecting any daffodils by the end of the week.
ReplyDeleteYes...still bitter here...but sunny!!
DeleteIt is lovely to get out for a nice walk. Great photos of the ring billed gull and Canada Geese. We have swans by us but in a more sheltered spot. The Toronto skyline is awesome.
ReplyDeleteWoke up to a bit more snow on this first day of spring.
Me too, Linda....must have been more flurries overnite....blah!
