Let's Start With Friday, Shall We?

After our chores were done...

We got to put our feet up....

After visiting the beach veggie garden...

And a few other various plants...

This is what I came up with!!!

Come along....

My tomatoes and Cucumbers are doing great...

No tomatoes "harvested" as yet...

My Watermelon is getting bigger!!!

A few others are right behind!!!

These orange buggies were all over the watermelon and cucumber leaves...

I remember one year, they were swarming my Milkweed plants...

WHY?!

Go away.......

The clouds began to thicken by 6pm...

No rain...until...around 10pm...

And it was the perfect straight down kind of rain...

My personal favorite...

We were able to stay on the sunporch...and not get soaked!

These are not my legs...mine are WAAAAYYY fatter!!!! these are my boyfriends!!

I was fortunate enough to get a shot of this Datura opening up...

It seems this summer...

I have never been there...

To see the bloom!!!

Awesome!

I never get tired of the sunsets....

I hope you don't either....

So beautiful....

Hope you all had a great day...

We had Sweet Cheeks today...and...she was the best wee girl!!!

Slept...pooped...ate like a little horse...went grocery shopping with me...

And we had a lovely walk to the park...and had a swing!!

On the menu tonight...

       Meat Loaf...roasted sweet potatoes...corn...

Enjoy the rest of your day...

Supposed to rain tomorrow...time for some housework!! ha!

                            Cheers!   :o)

Love the one with the birdhouse. :)
Maybe one day I'll get a cottage at the lake too... Okay, so maybe not, but it's still fun to dream.

  2. mmmmm....pink skies...love!

Your watermelon is SO cute! I have some kind of beetle bug all over my zucchini. They piggy back on each other and are everywhere. Hmm. The plant seems fine, so I guess they are harmless.

Your legs are not fatter! But less hairy, we hope. hahaha.

  7. Great sunset, great veggies, great flowers (especially the datura) great times by the look of it. Tell the pesky beatles to bug off and leave you alone, little nasties. Get back to the deck and sit and watch the sun, leave the housework, it won't go anywhere.
