Wet Friday......

This morning when I came downstairs....

And it was still dark...

And raining...

I knew we would be staying home....

As I fixed my "Overnite Oatmeal" for breakfast...

I noticed a few beautiful things...

Outside...

In the backyard...

So....

I thought....

Where the heck...

Is...

My camera?!

Took these from inside...

Helped to turn a rather...

Grey....

Dull...

Damp...

Chilly day....

Into...

Something beautiful!  :o)

But...

Nothing makes a day more beautiful...

Than...

A visit...{yesterday}

With...

This...particular....Munchkin..:o) :o) :o)

After her snack....walk-about...and bath...

She slipped into her Pink Jammies...

With the glow-in-the-dark Skeleton!!!

How seasonable and fashionable is she?!!!

                                                                     *******

Hope you are all having a great day...

It certainly was a great day to make soup...

And I just happen to have a pot of clam chowder simmering on the stove...

I will share my recipe next week....very easy...and most delicious!!

Hopefully we will be off to the cottage tomorrow...

Have to see if there are any wet spots in our bedroom!!!

HAHAH!!!why am I laughing??? I must be crazy!!!

                                                                  ******

On this Friday night menu....

   Roasted Panko-Parmesan skinless chicken thighs...

           Roasted yams...with brussell-sprouts...YUMMO!!!

                   Greek  salad....

Enjoy the rest of your evening...

                                  Cheers!  :o)

  1. I love Vivian's pink skeleton pj's. So cute! I hope your roof isn't leaking. I thought we were going to get rain on Sunday but now it's not until Monday so another nice weekend here but a bit chillier at 15. Enjoy!

  2. Vivian is a doll and her jammies are adorable!
I was hoping for another weekend full of sunshine but it isn't looking likely. Guess I'll have to pack my camera tomorrow and find a bit of beauty too. A fall rainwalk! Yes, that maybe just the thing.

      We moved the bed...and....
My boyfriend had put a tarp down...so it was contained!
A few weeks til it will be re-shingled....fingers crossed it doesn't leak anywhere else!!

  8. Soup weather for sure. I'll be making some over the weekend. I've got the laundry in right now but it probably won't get outside to dry. Even though it isn't raining it is damp out there. I've got lots to do inside to keep me busy.

  10. Pretty photos of the rain. I really enjoy a cozy day indoors when it's raining but we don't get very many of them here so it's a treat for us. I love Vivian's pajamas, very seasonal! She's so cute and looking more and more independent all the time!
