My Indoor Garden Is Bloomin' Lovely........

You may remember ...

A few weeks back...

I mentioned to you...

That my Gerbera...

Had put out a fresh bright bloom...

Well......

Here she is..

In all her glory...

How fabulous!!!!

On this...

Another pretty...

Darn...

Dull...

Gloomy day....

I am also taking this opportunity...

To showcase a few...

Of my "Outdoor" friends...

Who...

Came "Indoors" for the winter....

Like this sweet little waxy Pink Begonia....♥♥♥

This is her 2nd year coming in...and I think...well.... I KNOW...

She loves it!!!

Just look at her!!!

 Next.....

My Crown of Thorns....a very old plant...I think at least 7 years..

She was looking pretty sad last Spring...soooo..out she went!

She spent the Summer in the backyard....

And......I dare say.....she "blooming" loved it!!!
.

This particular Geranium...

Bright hot pink...

Sits in the Living Room window...

Gets the morning sun...

She is a happy camper

The paler Pink one below...

Resides on a shelf in the kitchen...

She enjoys the afternoon sun...

I hope they keep blooming for a few more weeks....

Then they can settle in for a long winters nap.....

Much like....all of us♥

Hope these lovely gals helped to brighten things up for you....

                                   **********

Hope  you all had a great day....

We took a drive to the lonely cottage....

Very warm...16*c....when we left....12*c when we got there!

With a very strong south wind....it felt even chillier....brrrrrr

Had Chinese for lunch...and visited all of our thrifty haunts...

Pretty slim pickens out there, I'll tell 'ya!

                                    ********

On the menu tonight....

Easy Peasy....from the freezer....Spaghetti and Meat Balls!!!

Enjoy the rest of your evening...

Gonna be REALLY cold starting tomorrow.....

Bundle up....stay safe....going to curl up and do some crochet♥

                       Cheers!   :o)

  1. None of your planty visitors seem to have noticed their move at all - or that it is winter! No reason to complain though when they are putting out such beautiful blooms as these!! xx

  2. We're having an ice storm hit tonight. I had planned a day of running errands but I might just have to stay in if it's as bad as they think! But that's fine, too....plenty to do at home, too! ha.

Your blooms look wonderful! I left my begonia out one night too long in the fall and I thought it died. I brought it in and it's growing some new shoots, so maybe it will just have a fresh start inside over the winter.

Always PLENTY to do at home!
Hope you don't get too much ice....I think that storm is south of us...but the cold is coming!
      Hugs to your Begonia!

  3. The Crown of Thorns has a very pretty bloom. Love the colour. It was so mild today as some friends and myself shopped til we dropped in the little town of Almonte. Put a good dent in my shopping list. Your photos are so pretty today. I`m already missing all the colourful gardens. Deb
