Now I know how you all like your tea....
And....that you are all cake/berry/shortbread hounds!!! hahaha!
Some of you even offered to move in next door...

We had a lovely time with our old friends last night...
The food turned out perfect....and it was like visiting with family....recalling the old days♥
And...she brought me some lovely Tea to brew up!!!
How thoughtful! We used to drink gallons of tea together when our kids were little....

                                             *****

Earlier today....my boyfriend and I ventured out for a walk...
It was quite nice...all bundled up...nothing shovelled...beautiful!
When we got back...I got my camera and the birdseed and headed to the backyard...
These pics were taken around 11 am....and it hasn't stopped snowing yet!!
A lot of the highways are closed....it is a pretty severe snow maker...
I will take pics in the morning...and see how tall the "Snow hats" are, on the feeders!

                                             ******

Hope you are all having a great day...keeping warm....chillin' inside!
I also wanted to officilaly welcome a few of you new gals to the blog....

  1. Oh Linda, you have a lot of very pretty and fluffy looking snow there. I love the way it is piled up on everything. Love the gate with the framed mirror too. I have the same turquoise garden ball with the flour de lys only mine is painted white. I bring it inside for the winter. We'll have our snow starting in the wee hours of the morning and all day tomorrow. Up to 25 cm. I hear. I'll be sharing pictures in a day or two. Enjoy your cozy home. I wish we had a fire to warm up to here. It's still -16 outside!!

  6. Beautiful snowy wonderland! We have snow...then it rained...then sleet...then fog. haha. We've had it all but sunshine today! I'm staying inside the next couple of days....so fun to be cozy inside and putter around and be productive while it's snowy outside!

  7. The snow started much earlier for you. It was after 2 pm when the white stuff started to arrive. We've been watching it out the windows and it looks so sparkly under the lights. Tomorrow I'll get a chance to take lots of lovely photos before the clearing away starts.

  9. Sorry to have missed the tea party. I was busy early chasing children and later having a fish fry with My Darling.

I love the mirror hanging on the garden gate, and how about those great big snowflakes? We're getting a bit of winter on this side of the Lake too!

  13. Worra Lorra Snow!! Your miscanthus looks beautiful with it's snowy caps, it is amazing how it all catches and stays here. I bet that the birds are chillsome, you look pretty chilly but well wrapped in your reflection in the mirror photo (I spotted you trying to blend in with the snow!). I hope that you have not had too much more and that you are safe and warm and inside with lots to eat and drink and keep you busy. Take care of yourselves. xx Oh, and much as I really love sharing with you Linda, please do not feel the need to send the snow over here to share with me!! xx

I promise not to send the snow your way....I don't think there is any left!!! It is all here!!

    2. I thought that you were a Corrie fan - they would say Worra Lorra!! Of course being a southern softie where I live (that's what they call us!) I would say Gosh what a lot of snow in a very posh voice (not!)!!!! It is raining and raining here, but you see to have kept all the snow for now! xx
