                  Blueberry Buttermilk Breakfast cake...

  1. I love beef burgers wrapped in lettuce. Though I also like them with homemade (only homemade), rolls, as well. Love how spring rain makes everything so green.

    Cheers and boogie boogie.

  3. Linda, your green is just luscious. And I must thank you for a wonderful idea. As I was strolling through your pictures, the tin container you have with the plants growing out is just what I was looking for. If we are approved for the apartment...we have small patio off the living room... (upstairs). I want to take some iris bulbs of my MIL and I have an old antique metal bread box just about that size. It old and chipped and I wouldn't use it inside, but I've kept it in the garage for years. I think it will look really cute on the patio with my iris. What do you think?

Trying a new recipe in the crock pot...Stuffing on the bottom with crushed pineapple and juice, layer of chicken breast on top, and a combination of sauce of onion, celery, pepper and mushroom soup and sour cream on top. It sure smells good. "Hawaiian Thanksgiving"

    1. I think that is an excellent idea Wanda....
I bought that picnic basket when I first started thrift shopping...
Immediately knew what I wanted to do with it♥️
Boy....that dinner sounds incredible....please let me know how it tastes...
I assume sour cream on top when serving.....right?
      Enjoy your evening....

    2. It was delicious...posting a picture tomorrow. The pineapple juice and crushed pineapple was the juice for the stuffing. That was in the bottom of the crockpot. chicken breasts dusted with flour, paprika, salt/pepper and browned in olive oil and placed on top of stuffing. Cook 6 hrs. The onion, celery, pepper, mushroom soup, sour cream and soy sauce made the "gravy"...Done in a sauce pan...not the crock pot...served on top of chicken and stuffing.

  4. Lots of green there and everywhere now. I love all the different shades of green don't you? The old plaid picnic basket (or is it a lunch pail) with the hosta growing in it is really neat. It was mostly cloudy here today and 17 - not bad at all. Going down to 7 tonight though. I'm glad I don't have my annuals yet.

  6. Love your lush green garden, Linda - nothing like the colour green for the soul.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn you like tea!! Is that usual over there ? I thought you guys liked coffee.
We are expecting heavy rain in UK to tomorrow, It usually rains in northern England, near beautiful mountain ranges surrounding lakes. This area is known as The Lake District (very much smaller than yours) but it often rains so much we call it The Leak District. You both must be busy and very fit with all the gardening work but with those gorgeous meals you cook that must provide lots of energy :)
