Mothers Day Recap In Pictures.....

 I wanted to show you Miss V's haircut...so cute...a short bob!
We started out n the backyard...not the greatest place for a nearly 2 year old...especially with the pool cover still on!
She made her way down to the back, where the pool equipment is, and swept away!
There were a few new faces in the garden that day...a lovely yellow tulip and the Periwinkle was in bloom everywhere!

After everyone arrived, and we stuffed our faces with all kinds of dips and chips...
We headed up to the park...it is right at the top of our court...
You can see Papa and Miss V right at the head of the pack!
She only wanted to go on the slide...not interested in the swings that day...

 We headed back to the house, and started getting dinner underway...
My daughter Lissa made a gluten-free vegetarian lasagna...
It was delicious...with spinach and zuchinni...lots of cheese!
We also had baked zucchini, brussells,roasted tomatoes..and greek salad...
Everything was perfect!
She also brought Greek yogurt and fresh raspberries for dessert....
Miss V was enjoying the dessert with me, when she finally put on her new hat that I had bought her!
Look at that face!!! ♥️♥️♥️

It was a perfect day...with perfect weather...
Everyone had a great time...

That night I captured another Moon shot...
Not sure if it is done yet...will look tonight again!

Hope you are all having a great day...
Lots of rain overnite...kinda gloomy...damp and actually humid...
Think there will be more rain tomorrow...

                                            ~~~~~~~~~
Enjoy the rest of your day...
I have pea soup in the crock pot...
And I made 2 banana/strawberry/blackberry spice loaves...
The house smells delicious!
                                                               ~~~~~~~~~~~~

          On the menu tonight....

           Summer Fresh Pasta and crusty bread...
              perhaps a salad...not sure yet!

                                    Cheers!  :o)

  4. What a cute haircut ... love the hat. It looks like everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day.
    Thunder, lightening, heavy rain overnight ... kind of muggy today and threatening rain but it hasn't arrived so far ... garden was good for digging after all that rain. I went to check on cabinets for kitchen and had to stop at the garden centre on the way home ... got some plants for the big planters out front. Not sure if I'll put them in yet or wait a day or so.

  14. We're a little bit soggy here today too, but with spots of sunshine sandwiched in.
    Your Mother's Day sounds lovely.
    It's been a quieter kind of week here, but tomorrow will be filled with grandchildren who are sure to make it a bit livelier than it was today. Let the fun begin!
