I was ordered here by Betsy, and orders must be obeyed at all times! I love your pictures of the birdies. We dont get any birds as colourful as that in Britain, we just have buzzards, kestrels, mangy old crows and thieving magpies!
Why in the world would Betsy order you to come over here Keith? I guess 'cause she loves me, eh? Thanks for stopping by....good bunch over here...oh...of course...you probably already know most of them! We all frequent Betsy's lovely blog...♥️ You also have beautiful birds in Britain....I love your Robins!
The goldfinch.....aren't they the best? You should hear them chattering in the trees, before they hit the feeders! Love these little guys! The ducks look good, eh?
Betsy ordered me over as well - isn't she bossy and aren't you the lucky girl!! Those bird shots are wonderful, Linda - not sure what the yellow ones are but as Keith said they are much more colourful than anything currently flying around UK. Is the red one a Jay?
Oh Eddie....what are we gonna do with you? Betsy did not order you over here...you have been here for weeks...... Yellow ones are goldfinch...the red one is a purple finch....jays are BLUE! Enjoy your evening......
All pretty photos but that 5th one...Yowza! Hope dinner was great. The retired-guy is cooking his one and only meal...roast chicken with roasted potatoes and a mirage of veggies. Hugs
And now it's Wednesday evening and the sun has shone all day and it got up to 17C. I commented on yesterday's post that it was 7 on Monday but I meant Tuesday. Actually Monday got quite nice and humid and we had our first thunder storm of the season. I'm all confused as we were in Moncton yesterday. I love the brilliant yellow goldfinches. Reminds me, I must fill the feeder! Have a nice evening. It is going to be sunny and 21 tomorrow! Yay.
Love your gold finches.. You're ducks aren't bad either. I was telling Betsy, I can hang a humming bird feeder on the balcony if we get the apartment, but finches and sparrows are too messy. I will miss my birds. Guess I'll have to buy a group of ducks...haha
love all the birds, especially the last group of ducks ... noisy here today as the floor is being laid, think we will be going out for dinner too :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Yes my thrifty buys!
