Finally....I Got One....Delicious!!

I spy somebody in the mirror!!!

Hope you are all having a great day....

My friend Betsy...over at...My Five Men...inspired me with her strawberry plant...

I finally picked myself up one today...YAY!!!

I will leave it here at home...so I can keep my eye on it...

And never miss a juicy berry!!

            Strange day weather-wise...

Not much rain to speak of...but keeps threatening...

Off to the cottage in the morning...

Can't wait to see my brussel sprouts!!!

               But...my handyman emailed me...deck is not painted...:o(

Too much rain...but...glad for the rain...my plants out there need it...

                                        So.........

                  I picked up a bag of spinach-feta perogies...YUMMO!!!

                        Gonna fry those babies up...

With some onions and diced peameal bacon...

                                Slather them with sour cream...

And sprinkle on some freshly snipped chives......

                                           And call it dinner!!!

Enjoy the rest of your day...

See you in a few days...

                                                       Cheers!  :o)

  5. Huh! My crop failed this year. We had too much rain, at the wrong time, and all the little flowers were battered to death by the hail. The strawberries that formed stayed green and are busy rotting away. I've told the plants that if they don't make the effort next year I'm going to dig them under and plant stinging nettles there!

    I'm fed up!

  9. Fresh strawberries...YUMMY! I've got a few strawberry plants growing in the garden. I hope I get some fruit out of them...before the animals do!

Spinach-feta perogies? That sounds sooooo good. We all love perogies here!

  10. It's very cute!! You'll have to put it in the ground at the end of the season and it will spread and sprout next spring.

  11. Would you believe I just clicked the "sign out" box over there instead of "publish"? It must be almost time for bed or something...
Your strawberry sure is pretty. I'm still not sure I like growing my own. My garden boxes are looking pretty wild these days and a very large "rabbit" keeps eating the berries. ;) If I want to make anything like shortcake or jam, I'll still have to go picking elsewhere.
