A Little Easter....Spring Decor.......

Did a little bit of Easter/Springtime decorating yesterday...

It was a lovely day...so I got outside for a while...

Swept...

Raked...

Cleaned the back windows!!

And clipped some pussywillows from my tree...

Also a trip to the Greenhosue, to pick up a few Pansies...

Nothing says Spring like Pansies...

I had purchased a very large white glass measuring cup, the week before...for $1 at the Thrift shop...

My boyfriend questioned what I would ever do with that!!

Well...

Look what I did!!

I think it is perfect for this!

I had bought the pretty grass for Miss V's Basket...

Had all the eggs and chickies from previous years...

Added some fresh cut Pussy Willows....and....VOILA!!

My foyer got a few pussy willows and tulips in my favorite bunny vase...

Living room got Tulips with my birdie in rubber boots and macintosh coat!!

Side table in Dining room got a few eggs...

And Miss V's favorite wind-up chickies!!

Hope you all had a great day...

Weather seems to be going downhill...

We had a high of 16*c...

But rain moving in...and those blustery winds are back!!

We took a spin to the cottage...

Still cold and lots of snow left...

Doesn't look good for a weekend sleepover..:o(

Hope you all have a lovely Easter weekend...

Don't eat too many chocolates! hahaha!

Sneak peek at my crochet...phew!! Finally finished this morning...

Why oh why do I get myself into these things...oh  yes....I remember...

For the love of Miss V ♥️....Nothing better!!

             Cheers my friends  :o)

  7. Oh my goodness, cutest bunny ever, Linda. Miss V will love that.....and YOU. Your home looks so pretty for Easter. I love your Easter tree. I really miss decorating for this holiday as it's always been my favorite. I expect Audrey would take out my Easter tree in seconds in this small space. I'd have to hang it from the ceiling... although she'd probably figure it out. I have one wooden bunny out, my window-ledge critters and I'm fixing up baskets for the grands. I am bringing the dessert for the dinner. That's it for this year. Hope your Easter is wonderful with your family. Hugs, Deb

    1. Hi Eddie....
      Thank you.....hope you are healing....
Will you have visitors for Easter?

      Delete
    2. Yes . . . I will have visits from my sister who lives in Bristol and the children will pop over from time to time. Jon, Lisa and baby Peter came yesterday and the nurses were drooling over him . . . I told them I used to be a beautiful baby too . . . . lol
Leg swelling reducing and they have got to grips with the infection but they are continuing firing missiles at it. I expect compression bandaging will be next. I'll do an update post soon.

      Have a wonderful Easter with the family . . . :)

Beginning to look like a human being again . . . lol
Nurses are looking after me a bit . . . . and a couple remember me when I was in ambulance service and picking up their patients . . . small world . . yes they like me cheeky . . . lol
Hope your Easter was very enjoyable. My family visited me several times, including Peter.

I think I shall be here a while yet and quite frankly I don't mind ~ I am in good hands.
Going walk abouts soon which is good exercise and good for the legs . . :) .

  10. How pretty and bright the measure is with the flowers and pussy willow and precious Easter and spring decor! Fun to do things for Miss V, I'm sure. I really like the bunny vase and I do remember the wind-up chicks from when I had my own "little chicks"!!! Happy Easter to you.

I've been a bad blogger of late but I sure do love keeping up with you on Instagram. And I'm going to scroll back and see what else you've been up to.

    Happy Easter and much love,

  20. Such fun vignettes - and so colourful! Love the bunny vase and the tall, dapper bunny with the blue jacket. Isn't he handsome? And I just adore the faces of pansies. Delightful.
I started the Easter weekend today with a veryyyyy early publicity interview, then had a delicious brunch of Eggs Charlotte, and then dinner with my god-daughter at my favourite Mexican place.. including a "tequila flight" - remind me to tell you about them! What a great day.
Hope you and yours have a lovely Easter weekend and I can't wait to see more pics of Miss V's bunny. What a LOT of work. She will love it, I know.

Miss V was rather apprehensive of the new bunny....I think it was scary to her, as she is quite large!
Oh well.....it is here, and hopefully she will learn to love it!
      Next project please!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend Suzanne....

    2. Awww... I am sure she will get used to it... often takes some time with something new and large. Didn't you mention that she was apprehensive of the snowman at the top of the stairs last year and then this year she was fine with him? I'm sure she will come 'round and love him to bits! Happy Easter, dear Linda! Hope the Bunny is good to you!
