A New Garden Helper.......

When Miss V visited us on Wednesday...

The first thing we needed to do...

Was...

Visit the Park...

So...

We changed into some "park" clothes...

And headed off...

"You coming Papa?"

"Absolutely"...♥️

After our afternoon snack...

Nana's banana cake with berries and yogurt... :o)

We noticed that there was some more raking to be done....

So...

Miss V got her gardening gloves on...

Found her rake hanging behind the fence...

And got to work...

Raking the deck!!

In her pretty dress and sparkly shoes!!

Don't you just love her wee gardening gloves!!

Made to measure!!
She needed a short rest....after all her hardwork...

But first...

Lets stand on the footstools one more time!!

Time to go in...

Getting a bit chilly as the sun hides behind the trees...

We saw lots of birdies and squirrels...yes...red made and appearance!!

SO...in we went...watched a wee bit of Bubble Guppies...

And had veggie pasta...yummy!!

Hope you all have a great Friday...and a fabulous weekend...

My boyfriend and I are off to the cottage....

My rake is calling my name....need to get that task finished...

Hopefully a beach bonfire if the wind is right...

See you all in a few days...

                               Cheers!  :o)

  2. Such a cute garden helper, she can come and help me anytime. My little helpers are in school now and busy all the time with drum lessons, swimming lessons, karate lessons and of course visiting their friends. But summer holidays will be here soon and they will have more time. Enjoy the cottage this weekend.

  9. Wow - Miss V is the most stylin' gardener ever! And I love the photo hand-in-hand with Papa. So very sweet.
I went to a noon-hour recital that a friend of mine played. He's a jazz pianist and the theme was spring. Lovely.
Then we went out for a quick bite at this fabulous place called Artisano. Had a delicious sirloin and aged cheddar sandwich on Tuscan Filone with caramelized red onion and horseradish mayo. Sooooo good - it came with a choice of several small sides and I chose the cold pasta salad that was very tasty too. Then I had some banking to do, then sat in the park for a while, and then up to my rooftop garden to soak in some more sun. Didn't want to come in. I think I turned a little pink!
Have a great weekend... hope the nice weather holds.

Miss V looks like she's going to need a bigger pair of sparkly shoes soon...she's growing like a weed! haha.
