Blooms Outside & Inside....Weather Changes...

The extent of my Blooms outside...

Are...

2 Daffodils...

And...

A clump of white   Hyacinths...

Oh yes...

Can't forget...

Tiny bouquets of Jolly Jump Ups scattered here and there...

Hoping for something more flowery SOON!

Inside...things are a bit brighter...

Geraniums still going strong...

African Violets looking very glamorous...

What is flowering in your outdoor/indoor garden?

I wanted to show you how much the weather is jumping around...

On Monday...on  the way to the park with Miss V...

We were all bundled up!!

Her Mother would kill me, if she saw this outfit!!!
Nothing co-ordinated...
But...
I let her pick everything out!
Gosh...she makes us smile...from ear to ear♥️

On the way home from the park, my boyfriend was gathering up water bottles etc, that "people" had left behind...Miss V got in on the act...she was so excited to carry them back here, and put them in the recycling bin!

Bless her little heart!!

Fast forward to Wednesday...

Warm and toasty...

Short sleeved shirt!!

Crazeeeee!!

Here is the Moon last night...

I think it will be right over the lake...can't wait for that!!

We are leaving bright and early in the morning...

Hopefully much warmer...and perhaps even a bloom or two!!

Hope you are all having a great day...

Mix of sun & cloud today...not as warm as yesterday...

Think I'll get outside and do a wee bit more raking...my favorite pastime!!

A comfort meal tonight...Grilled pork tenderloin...

                                 Mashed potatoes,fresh green beans,gravy..

                                     Yummy!!

Enjoy the rest of your day...

              Cheers!  :o)

  1. The weather is a little bipolar this week.
    Yesterday was perfect!
Today the wind is coming off that cold lake which probably means it's warm at your house.
The sun is bright and Sofie and I went for an orchard walk.
It's warm if you keep moving and probably super nice a litter farther south where the cold lake breeze has a better chance to warm up.
I have no blooms inside. Outside are daffodils, 2 tulip blooms, and my dogtooth violets, along with some pretty yellow dandelions.

  4. Hi Linda - Oh, I think you are in for a great weekend at the cottage. Weather sounds promising. We had the same weather as you today but I'm loving the sunshine. Your photos are beautiful as always. I don't have flowers other than crocuses and the Forsythia bush is in bloom. Our lilac trees look almost ready to bloom. I'm planting lots of annuals while I wait for perennials to grow. This 2 acre lot needs lots of them.My little Red kept me company today. He says "Howdy".

  7. Good for Vivian for picking out her own clothes and recycling! I think is cute when kids pick out their own clothes. When my daughter was little her ensembles always consisted of a dress with pants and rubber boots.

  8. We were close to the 90's today. The pool is looking real good to me. Since we were gone all day, I made an easy dinner of grilled tuna salad sandwiches, cold slaw with pineapple and avocado slices. Ice Tea. It was refreshing. You dinner sounds yummy,

  9. I think she looks perfectly co-ordinated! Nothing wrong with pink and red together - very avant garde!
No flowers around here - in or out. But I may pick up some for the weekend. Going a bit crazy from Thursday to Sunday this week as I am working some professional auditions, attending a duo-retirement party, going to a concert and throwing a shower for my god-daughter. Yikes! It's fun, but I just need more hours in the day.
Have a great weekend at the cottage... or as my girlfriend and I used to pronounce her cottage... "the cot-tawwwwge" - ha!

    2. I have been felled with a wretched cold the last few days so I'm not able to go to the retirement party tonight... but as I am co-hosting the shower tomorrow I absolutely have to be there. Sigh. Why couldn't I get sick when there was nothing on the calendar? :-)
Ah well... Murphy's Law. Hope you are enjoying the cot-tawwwwge!

    3. Of all the darn luck.....hope you are better and enjoyed the shower!

    4. The shower was wonderful - so glad that it all happened without a hitch. And a gorgeous day weather-wise. But OMG... I felt like I was operating on another planet. I just willed myself to get through it. So sick, have lost my voice and it would be really nice to breathe again. I know breathing is highly over-rated, but... :-)

  10. Miss V is so cute! And your closeups of the flowers are exquisite! My spring flowers have stopped blooming and now it's time to plant all those bedding plants I bought the other day. I have the front patio finished, now for the bigger, back patio. I had to rest up a day, the old bod is worn out.
    Have fun at the cottage!

  13. You have more blooms than me ... just those little jump ups or violets in the green stuff we call grass. But I do have buds, so if it gets a bit warmer perhaps they will open up. I've taken to wearing my capri pants as I'm tired of winter clothes, but mornings are still a bit chilly. Enjoy the time at the cottage.

  14. By now you must be at the cottage. So, there are some daffodils, hostas and helianthus beginning to sprout in the backyard garden. Okay, I have to be honest, the BF takes care of this. I'm the indoor houseplant person. Have a lovely weekend. Just making a dessert orange mousse for friends coming for dinner tomorrow. Take care...
