The Victoria Day Long Weekend......

Hope you are all having a great week...

Isn't time just flying by? Seems like there is no time to do anything!

Enjoy a few photos from our long weekend at the cottage...

Been very hot and humid all week here at home...not complaining!

Pouring rain here earlier...thunder and lightning...

I am certain my gardens loved every drop..♥️

Seems to be harder to find the time to post here...my apologies...

The world is moving so fast for me lately...hangin' on!!

Enjoy the rest of your Thursday...

And...enjoy the weekend coming up...gonna be hot and sticky!!

Need to finish up my baskets at the Cottage...

See you all soon...

           Cheers!  :o)

  3. Great lot of photos . . . Thought at first Miss V was contemplating a high jump but then realised it was a limbo thingummy. . . lol
What a lovely weekend you had.

Interesting you had a long weekend last week and we have one this weekend, just called May Bank Holiday. I was looking to see if ours was anything to do with Victoria, as in Queen Victoria but nothing there to corroborate it.

Can you limbo really low? . . . lol

  4. I agree with Monique, no need to apologize. Family time is more important.....time with them is precious. I can't get over how big Miss V is getting. I love your beach area. Looks like the best place to hang out and enjoy the water, the weather and loved ones. I usually hang ferns on the porch at the beach, but haven't gotten around to it yet this year. I'll have to take the time, the next time I go there. It makes a huge difference in the look and feel of the porch, don't you think?

    1. Yes, Laurie...I agree...I will take it easy! Hahaha!
That is our beach deck...actually not on the beach at all...at the end of the lawn...
Beach is all rocks....stones...pebbles...down to the water...
We love the decks...another of my great ideas! :o)
Get your Fern...I think they look very Southern!
      Enjoy your long weekend!

  5. I feel the same way my friend but I love seeing your pics of lake life. Miss V is growing by leaps and bounds. Seeing her snuggled in her bed brought a tear to my eye. So precious. A gift!

Plants look so lovely, too, and if possible...we are having the same on/off weather. Hang in there. My blogging is super spotty !

  6. Miss V looks so grown up in the picture with the purple shirt! Looks like you had a beautiful weekend at the cottage. You won't hear me complaining about the weather, either! It's the perfect combination of rain and heat. Have you put any vegetables in? -Jenn

  8. I am feeling that way too. Time is so fleeting and by the time I catch a break I'm too tired to do anything. Not sure whether to laugh or cry. ha ha! On a good note, I did sleep better last night.
Your pictures are wonderful. Love the nighttime ones.

  11. Oh! You had such a lovely weekend judging from the pics. I particularly like eight and nine - the light is amazing. And I don't think I've ever seen a nighttime one. Lovely.
Aw - Miss V looks so cosy all tucked in.
Frying here because, of all weeks, our A/C is broken and won't be fixed until next week. Sigh. 36C tomorrow and I have movers coming to help me put some stuff in storage. More popsicles!
