This is still all about last Friday, that we spent at the cottage...for the afternoon...
I captured..
What I thought...
Were...
Some really...
Lovely...
Lingering...
Luscious...
Ladies in my garden....
This small bouquet has been going strong for about 4 weeks or so...
The Coleus has rooted...and the Sedum should bloom shortly!
Both...will be suitable for transplant!!
They look like tiny pink stars...
The Pink of these Obedient plants is stunning...
And...
These Morning Glory...
Are finally...
Coming into their own...
Precious and Pink..
I really love this variegated variety...
The foliage is so pretty to look at...
Zsa Zsa still going strong...Perhaps I can get her into the ground this weekend..
The next pic, actually shows her ruffled petals full of rain water....
I think this Datura is one of the biggest I have ever seen...
Lots of buds as well......YIPPPEEE!!
This Coleus and tiny pink bloom...
{sorry...I forgot the name..I added her as an annual to one of my baskets}
Even make this fly{yuck} look good!!!
Not sure who this wee guy is on the Datura bud...
Gosh...
I love this plant!!!
What does one say about the glorious Geranium...They will soon be coming
inside....to spend the Winter with us....and bloom again next year...
AWESOME!!!!
My garden still has a lot of life left in it...
And I intend to enjoy every last second...
And.......of course........share it with you!! :o)
*******
Hope you all had a great day...
Started out cloudy, but the sun has managed to come out...
Miss V woke us at 6:15....and, as I compose this post... is down for her second nap...
When she awakes, my boyfriend and I will drive her out to her new place...
And.....see her Mom!!
She has been an excellent house guest...and so entertaining!!
She says "Hi!" to everyone...she could be the youngest greeter at Walmart!
*******
On the menu tonight...
Easy...peasy....lazy...
Chicken Ceasar Salad....from the leftover chicken from yesterday!!!
Gosh........I am S M A R T !!!
Enjoy the rest of your evening....
Cheers! :o)

Honestly, you could charge admission to your garden.
ReplyDeleteHow much would you pay to enter???
DeleteYou would let me in for free, no?
DeleteAbsolutely....Positively...For sure!!!
DeleteAnd....we would have a cup of tea....and chat!!
You are smart! I think you could write a book about cooking great meals, leftover or otherwise. I can't believe how many things are still blooming in your garden, you're so lucky!
ReplyDeletePerhaps I should do that....nope...no time!!! hahaha!
DeleteYes....the garden is still looking great...perhaps I can get out to my garden here at home tomorrow!
Lovely photos and gardens . Things here are slowly coming to an end and I have got my geraniums in now just incase we get frost . Oh Papa and I love having chicken Cesar salad for suppers . Thanks for sharing , Have a good week !
ReplyDeleteIt is an easy delicious dinner...and I added the rest of my wee tomatoes to the salad...with plenty of red onion too!!
DeleteLOL!!!
ReplyDeletewhat birdie said. ditto.
i love the little flying insects on the flowers. i can just hear them now.
"oh honey. come over and look at this one! do you think we could really live with this shade of pink all the time?" that being of course MRS. fly.
MR. fly couldn't care less. he wants to go play on a golf course's green.
well.
our baby a walmart greeter! LOLOL. priceless!
i guess you're understanding i'm vicariously sharing in your grandmamma pride!
good night! xo
Okay....how much would YOU pay to enter??
DeleteDo you think flies talk to each other??
I guess they probably do...in their own ways...
If Miss V makes you happy...I am fine with that, Tammy...:o)
Gorgeous blooms! Your plants are happy, that is for sure! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice thing to think, eh Betsy!
DeleteHappy plants....i like that!
So funny that your bouquet has rooted - how many times can your bunch of flowers go on and become a plant. Now that is clever!! As everyone else has said your garden is amazing and so wonderful that you still have so many flowers blooming. Not sure if you "did a little something" with your pics, but they are looking great so whatever you did or didn't do, I say stick with that Linda!
ReplyDeleteI will plant the sedum in the garden, and perhaps bring the Coleus indoors for the winter...
DeleteI am sure it would make a beautiful houseplant!
No touch-ups...other than my initials...
Hope you have fun with the "for free" plants. The effects you sometimes do on your pics are great, but I really really like what you didn't do today!
DeleteThanks for sharing! So pretty. We've had two nights of frost up here already...had to pull in my big beautiful ferns. Think I'll be able to keep them going over the winter? Enjoy your day Linda!
ReplyDeleteFrost??? too bad....
DeleteThe ferns will look a wee bit sad for a while...and if you can stand all the bits falling off...they will do fine!
I used to wrap an old sheet around mine...take them to the door...and give them a good shake! All the dead bits OUTSIDE...instead of inside!
Good luck!
Haven't seen you in a while....thanks for stopping by!
Zsa Zsa is looking fabulous! The Datura bloom is spectacular, as well! As you say, lots of life left in our gardens and hopefully lots more sun and warmth!
ReplyDeleteWow, beautiful blooms Linda! I love the morning glories. Had them one year and they self seeded for 2 years after. They have such a short lifespan don't they?
