Happy Thanksgiving.......

First things first...Mandatory photo thru living room window!

Next....slippers off...flipflops on!!

Hostas looking good...

Down to the beach deck...

And then down to the beach...

Lots of sand this week...and...those horrific winds have subsided...

When a cloud covered the sun...

It was still pretty nipply...

Sweat pants on...

Flipflops still intact!

Dressed and ready to head home...

Arrived early evening last night...to get a jump start on the festivities!!!

My Turkey is jsut ready to come out of the oven...

Smells heavenly...

Hope you all have a great Thanskgiving...

My gang will be arriving around 3pm...

Eating early this year...

Enjoy!!!

                   Cheers! :o)

  5. Happy Thanksgiving!
We were actually invited to observe Thanksgiving with my husband's cousin Tracy in Niagara Falls this year, but My Darling has taken too much time off already and really needs to get the back roof section back on the house while the weather is halfway decent. I must admit, I am a tad disappointed.
However, there remains a possibility that I can still make a visit, pie in tow. Maybe even two pies. They let pies across the border, right?

  12. Good morning girlfriend. I typed out my comment on my ipad, and then poof, it went away. Darn ipad!! I have caught up here this morning. I am so sorry that I have been so sporadic at commenting. I have some big projects going on here at home. I have worked like crazy for three solid days. My body is begging me to take it easy today! I love all of the shots of the lake! Sometimes it looks like the ocean, and others it is as still as still can be. I also loved the pics of Miss V in the dappled sunlight! And with her Grandpa too. So sweet!!! Your feet are so tan!!!! Loving your crochet as well. Wish you could come to my new studio and sit and stitch with me, as we chat away about all of the many things we have in common.
    xo Kris

  15. Sounds as if you've had a lovely weekend, LK. Love your photos, as usual. I especially enjoy the way your feet/shoes are the weather forecasters. :) We shared time in Montreal with family. The autumn leaves were brilliantly beautiful, probably because it's a little farther north. Take care and have a good week.

  16. Hope you had a great holiday weekend. I was in emerg for part of it with tummy issues. Darn. Missed a wonderful BBQ on Sunday with friends. I am home now but feeling kinda cruddy. But, I am cheered up by your photos, as always. Love the one with the rock and interesting etchings in the sand and the next one of the water. Sigh - so beautiful!

  17. Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving, Linda. I'm looking forward to some photos. I can't imagine how good your thanksgiving dinners are. Ours is this coming weekend IF the retired guy feels better. He threw out his back (dufus) carrying rocks (more like boulders) at the lot. He's now on muscle relaxers and extra strength tylenol. He forgets he's 60. Anyway, all is well here...just a little tired. Sending a hug your way.Deb
