All The Best To All Of You........From Me♥️

             Hoping you all had a wonderful Christmas Day...

                 Hoping you spent it with the people you love...

                    Hoping your meal was delicious...

                          Hoping you had many laughs and cherished moments...

                              Hoping the very best for all of you in 2015....

                                                        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
              I snapped these photos Christmas Eve afternoon before leaving for our Sons house...
                       You can see out the LR window how foggy it was!!
      Had a great time there...Miss V got lots of fantastic gifts from her Aunts and Uncles♥️
                   The only downside was the horrific rainstorm we had to drive home in...
                      But...everyone arrived safely...thank goodness!
       Christmas Day was spent here at home...with all my kiddies and their significant others!
               Miss V...unfortunately...was running a fever and was not quite her perky self...
                  But I must say...for a sick child...she did pretty good...what a trooper!
                           Plus...she was surrounded by all her favorite people♥️♥️♥️
           The meal was delicious...desserts were fabulous...wine was excellent!! hahaha!
        We all exchanged wonderful thoughtful presents...and I am a truly happy Mother...
         Nothing like wonderful children..{no matter how old}...to make a Mother proud♥️
                                                    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

                Okay...before I start crying...enjoy the rest of the Holiday weekend...

       We hope to take a drive to the dear old cottage tomorrow...and take Miss V with us!

                     Weather is unbelievable....10*c...sunny today...nice!

                                           Cheers!  :o)

  1. Sounds like a wonderful couple of days. Same over here...crazy Christmas Eve weather and a fun Christmas day with our little family here. Yummy food, great gifts and good wine. haha.! We're just taking it easy today and will nibble on leftovers as we get hungry. I think I enjoy the day after just as much as the big day. Hope V is feeling better! Lots of sickness going around down here...thankfully we've avoided it so far!

      It's very grey again here but not too cold. I just might get out and plant those bulbs today.

  4. Just enjoyed a turkey dinner tonight (Boxing Day). Hope Miss V is better, our Little Pumpkin had quite the cough and when we did FaceTime with family in BC t. had a cough too ... it
    s a kid thing, good thing they are all away from school for awhile to let the germs vanish. Such mild weather, walked around garden in a big sweater today ... I think the grass needs cutting!!!!
    I'm sure you had a good drive and visit at the cottage.

  6. It sure doesn't feel like the Christmases I remember as a child! But hey, it sure does make travel and shopping easier.
    Your pictures are perfect! We had a hard time just keeping the tablecloth on the table with our three little ones. Ha ha!
    You have bags of gifts and we have boxes. So much fun!

  7. Hi Linda,
    Glad you had such a wonderful time with your family ~ it is heart touching that they are so affectionate and love their mums and dads.
    My son, 23, always says every time I see him, "I love you dad!" and that makes me feel so good ~ I know my daughter loves me a lot too ~ we are all very close and I have invited their spouses as son and daughter too andd they are very warm . . . .sorry Linda, I expect you are reaching for the tissues . . . . lol

    Lovely set of Christmassy photos and you decorated your house beautifully . . .
    I expect it is too cold for flip flops at the cottage . . . lol
    Hope little Miss V gets better soon from her ear infection.

    Little Peter was the star of the show today for a large Boxing Day (day after Christmas) party and he was shoeing off his new car and behaving rather like a NASCAR driver . . . . . lol. I got a lot of amusing video footage.
    Speak soon . . . :)

    1. Hi Eddie....
      Sounds like you have lovely children.....and Peter of course♥️
      We call it Boxing Day as well....
      So....what was your favorite present?

      Delete
    2. Yes, I am blessed with lovely children, just two, although Maria and I always imagined we would have three.. . and Peter of course is delightful and I believe he was crafted in Heaven and I think Maria might well have had something to do with that somehow . .
      Interesting you call it Boxing Day ~ some of your cousins in the States don't know what it is . .
      Regarding presents I told the kids not to be too extravagant since I already have almost everything. But I am very pleased with two jumpers I had and a Hamper of Goodies which will be demolished fairly quickly by a certain extrovert ex ambulance man with a very good appetite for the finer things in life. . . . lol

      . . .and what was your's ? . . . :)

    3. . . . and I just love all those stockings and lined up . . . :)

      Delete
    4. I made those stockings!
      Starting with Lissa's first Christmas....40 years ago!
      I made the others as they were born....sadly....could not get the quilted gingham to make Miss V's....
      My favorite present?
      Can't decide....I will think...oh...probably a wee digital camera my boyfriend bought me....
      I love to carry one when we walk the beach in Florida....my big one is too clumsy....
      My small digital is broken....so....he got me a new one!
      Will share a pic soon:o)

I guess we don't sound like good Canadians. haha! Today we are just relaxing and watching movies. Took Kane for a nice long walk. Hope all is well at the cottage. Enjoy your evening. Deb

  17. Enjoyed your lovely photos and blog, glad you had such a nice family time, you deserve it! This boyfriend's family in Collingwood have also been sick with the flu, so the festivities have been postponed until the 31st! Amazing how many people we saw at the movie theatre on Xmas day! But we've spent some time at my daughter's and with friends, so still lots to be grateful for. And I wanted to wish you and your family a happy, healthy 2015. :)

  21. Sorry I haven't been to visit sooner. I got a horrible cold and along with a wonderful Christmas Eve and Day with family the kleenex box was close by and the day after Christmas...stayed in bed most of the day.

    You pictures leave me breathless....sorry Miss V was under the weather too...they were giving me Champagne and orange juice and told me it would be good for my cold...it tasted so good, I didn't care if it helped...another glass please. HaHa
