Bits & Bobs.....

                            Guess who's shadow this is???

                                            Yup...Red himself! Love this shot!

Hope you are all having a great day...

Sun shining...wee bit of wind...not a bad day at all!

Miss V slept 'til 7:45...had her juice and cheerios...watched a bit of Zack and Quack...

We built a few towers with her blocks...got her dressed...

Papa took her down to her school♥️

                              Then....Nana got busy!! hahaha!

Made egg salad sandwiches for  lunch...

Put on a pot of chicken soup...

Sliced the beef for dinner...marinating in soya sauce and cajun seasoning, and freshly ground black pepper...

To make Pepper steak, over no-yolk noodles for dinner...

It is one of my oldest and most favorite recipes...

The fresh green peppers...sliced spring onions and grape tomatoes give it such a rich fresh taste...

Got out with my boyfriend for a nice brisk walk...very nice in the sun!

I did some groceries, as I think we will take a drive tomorrow...

Supposed to be a nice day...sunny...YAY!!!

What were you up to today??

What is cooking in your kitchen??

                           Sunny for you?? But...still cold??

Enjoy the rest of your day...and your evening...

                                       Cheers!  :o)

  2. Looks like the whole gang was having breakfast with you! I'm part of a music blog hop (Battle of the Bands). Spent of the day visiting to see what group won the battle on each site, leaving comments. Time to go home for leftover potato salad and maybe some ham.
    Red's shadow is cute.

  6. Hi Linda - nice photos. Does that hawk come into your yard? That would worry me for the song-birds. Red looks very full of himself and healthy. Thanks to you, most likely. :) I had coffee with a friend who is a big time 'birder' and she is thrilled that I am now showing interest in all bird life. She even brought me a book to learn more. I guess she's getting tired of me asking "what's this called?" Glad you had a good day with Miss V. Cute photo of her having her brekkie. I picked up some delicious samosas today and we are having them with rice and veggies tonight. Kane is having a beef pattie, rice and veggies. Yes, I have cooked for my dog all his life. I guess it's ok since he will be 15 this year. Haven't poisoned him yet. haha! Love the shadow shot. Have a great evening. Deb

  14. Gorgeous shots with such detail - amazing, Linda. The birds are absolutely incredible. Even the hawk has his own beauty... and yes, he will eat Red in a flash. And other birdies too. We had one in the COC courtyard and he feasted on pigeons and doves, etc. while we watched. Ugh.
Bunnykins! Love them. I still remember those heavy, wide-rimmed cereal bowls. I must keep an eye out for a set. I don't think I have ever grown up.
Dinner was grilled cheese and Hungarian salami sandwiches with cocktail tomatoes and baby spinach on the side. I am now eyeing Kawartha Dairy ice cream - Black Raspberry Thunder - yum!

  20. It has been incredibly chilsome here the last couple of days, but no snow still. The heritage carrots are amazing aren't they, so many different colours. I am sure that I heard or read somewhere that they didn't start out orange, but all the colours and then were bred to be orange only. Odd really! Hope you have a good drive! xx
