Smells heavenly...I also have a bunch of small Tulips...will share those later...

Hope you are all having a great day...

All is well here...

Miss V and I went grocery shopping and then thru the carwash!

She ate all her lunch...had cake and berries and yogurt...sat on the potty for 5 books...

Nothing....by the way!!! tee hee hee...

Napping since 1pm...

Got the spinach salad put together...

We are having that most delicious buttermilk soaked...panko encrusted...Cod filet...

Rice with peas...sauteed peppers...green,yellow and red...YUM!!!

We are having a sleepover...need to spend as much time with Miss V as we can...

Our trip is drawing ever closer on the old horizon...

Weather here is the nothing...no sun...no wind...nothing...except of course COLD!!!

Enjoy the rest of your afternoon and evening...

Think I'll make myself a big mug of Apple Cinnamon Tea...and curl up with my crochet hook...

That is...

Until I hear...."NANA?".....{louder}..."NANA?"...from upstairs ♥️

Doesn't get any better than that......

                                      Cheers!   :o)

  1. Gosh, I've fallen behind! Just read yesterday's blog, what a lovely evening you enjoyed with your "old" friends. Loved the photos of the table all set for them, how creative you are, LSK. Glad you have Miss cutie pie for a sleep over. Had a facial yesterday, just leaving to tutor. Dinner will be chicken breasts baked with bread crumbs, honey and dijon mustard. Also, brown rice and baked butternut squash. Have fun! :)

    2. Okay, it's a deal. When all travels are finished towards the end of March, we'll set you up for a facial. (yes, it's the lady who does aesthetics in her home.) Enjoy the little sweetie....

  2. Gorgeous blooms! I haven't had a primula in years! They are always at the grocery about this time of year, which makes them even more appealing with the yucky weather! Yours is blooming so nicely!

  6. I love the colour of this primula. Makes me think of Spring. We had another day of sunshine but it's really cold. Getting warmer this weekend with lots more sun. I was in a store yesterday and their shelves were full of Easter things. I have to say I really enjoyed all the bright colours. Dinner sounds good, as usual. It's pizza night here. Enjoy Miss V as much as you can, Nana. :)

  10. It sure doesn't Linda! I had my grandkids record their voices on my phone. Now when I need to hear them quick, I keep playing it back over and over, lol...

Your flower treats are lovely. You have given me an idea. I think I'll stop at the florist and pick up some pick me up flowers for these dreary cold days. Thanks for that!!!

5 books, huh, oh how I remember those days, lol...

Had yogurt drenched cod fish filets for dinner tonight topped with herbed up Panko. Mine was dee..li..cious. I'm sure yours will be too!

    Thanks for sharing, Linda...

  11. Those primulas look positively joyful! So pretty.

I had lunch with a dear friend celebrating both our birthdays. Great Mexican restaurant in the Distillery called El Catrin. They specialize in tapas style Mexican food. We had guacamole to start which they make at your table - so delicious. I had a Margarita. Then we split two orders of soft tacos. The first was called the Baja Taco (crispy fried cod, chipotle lime coleslaw, flour tortilla) and then Taco of the Day (flank steak, onions, peppers, etc.) Then we shared two desserts: the Olé Mole (warm chocolate mole brownie, caramel flan ice cream, candied amaranth, cajeta) and the Tres Leches with a candied corn crumble. Tea and coffee and lots of conversation.

We had the most delightful server and when she heard it was our birthdays (although we told her our birthdays were a while ago), she brought our desserts with a lit candle in each and then insisted that they were on the house! So we had free, delicious treats for dessert! What a lovely gesture. We waddled home and I will be having soup for dinner!

  13. You make me smile! You have a way of describing your meals that makes them sound so interesting and enticing.

Not sure how long you will be on vacay, but anything longer than a day or two must seem like eternity without your Miss V. Well, there is always Skype! :)
