Just Chillin'......

Hope you are all having a great day...

Decided it was time for some heavy duty housework...

So...I tackled that!

Cleaned up a few old messy plants...

Vacuumed...

Tubs and sinks and toilets...

Dusted...

Tidied...

You know the routine....

Think I'll make some Chicken Pot Pie tonight...

Have leftover Rotiserrie Chicken from last night...

COLD day again today...sunny...but cold!!

The Pot Pie will definintely warm things up...

Not to mention the aromas....

Gonna bundle up, and go for a walk in the sunshine...

Enjoy the rest of your day...

Cheers!  :o)

  6. I cooked a turkey on Monday so we've been working on that this week. Tonight we'll have turkey salad sandwiches and maybe tomorrow I'll cook up a pot of soup. (I'm kind of wishing I did that today. Soup is good for headaches...)

Must be the weather.....hope you are better....

    2. Yes, that turkey. I didn't stuff it or anything fancy, but we're enjoying it just the same.
Soups on, turkey salad is made.
Not sure what's causing the headaches, but I still suspect hormones.
      They're slightly erratic right now...
Maybe it's from that tree I backed into this morning.
      ha ha!

    3. Love Turkey!
I have NO hormones left....so...no headaches!
      You backed into a tree?
You got some 'xplaining to do Missie!

    5. Any damage? Other than your bruised ego.....

      Delete
    6. No, no damages. I was just backing up to turn it around. Between the snow on the sun and it being directly behind me while I was watching my side mirrors, I backed right into it. It went BLAM! and I felt suddenly sheepish. We were just dropping Hannah's car off at the shop to have the brakes done. She didn't even know I did it and no one inside saw or heard it either. Backing up is getting scarier all the time!

  7. I just got in from a nice walk, myself. House tasks too most of the morning. Played on Facebook, missing a needed nap!
Pot pie sounds good. I hope my chicken breast thawed out. If not, leftover pintos, ham hock bits, and slaw.(smile).

  10. Cute little bird. Missed South Common today, had a dental visit. Dinner was easy, took home made veggie lasagna out of the freezer and roasted some beets. This boyfriend has gone to a meeting, so I'm doing some schoolwork prep for tutoring. Some snow in the forecast tomorrow, time for you to get ready for the south! :)
